  1. Absolutely hillarious in its rank hypocrisy.... Anyone else remember the SOGGY sermons about how Lowe should be credited for the good times, that it wasnt only Stachan or Hoddle ????
  2. Where did I call Lowe a thief ? I said he took money from the club - his salary. NC by getting ML has brought money into the club. Considering that comment and the rest of that post, methinks it is YOU that needs to grow up and stop the foot-stamping, or at least try some anti-senility therapies... There is NOTHING in common between the two; NC is a competent businessman who isnt going to hog or indulge the media.
  3. Dont let that minor detail get in the way of SOGGYs rants.......... Comparing NC to Lowe is a massive insult to NC, since he has brought money INTO the club whereas Lowe only took money from the club...
  4. Have a bad feeling Brighton may be a big thorn in our side.
  5. But he has gone out and bought a lot of the players he wanted. Its what he thinks NOW that matters. Maybe he rates Puncheon as better than Drew, for example.
  6. How do you know ? I havent read AP going on the record anywhere about that.
  7. Yeah, I meant CM. I'm not firing on all thrusters today, apparently.
  8. My apologies for my original response to this. What I mean to say is that I blame Lowe for Surman's departure because it was necessary to balance the books that Lowe screwed up.
  9. At first glance that looks a strong team. But Puncheon doesnt turn up sometimes, and I think Barnard's under-utilisation is criminal. I would like Antonio and Papa to be those bench options, along with another CM that can make things happen.
  10. Yes, I ballsed my post up on the other thread, but he was sold to keep the club going after Lowe dropped us into administration.
  11. One of the key strengths about our club is the family atmosphere. Drew will always be a member of the extended Saints family. I have a lot of time for him because he was especially nice to my son at the 2007 open day before the season started. But I reckon him returning is a step backwards for the team. No spite, no maliciousness, I just see him as a figure from a past we'd all like to forget.
  12. Except that since then we've been shopping for players, which will have changed the outlook completely.
  13. Are you a Saints fan or not ? Even I, over here in Austria, know that he was sold against his wishes by Lowe trying to prop his f**ked regime up for a bit longer.
  14. Have they found themselves a Swiss billionaire too ? Missed that one..
  15. And Nigel Quashie
  16. Wolves are in money trouble ? Feel sorry for Drew, Lowe has screwed him up too.
  17. This is a good point. We should look forwards, not backwards.
  18. Not sure Drew is the man to fill-in for Schneiderlin's treatment table visits or bouts of bad discipline..
  19. Good post, Frank
  20. I wouldnt bother, mate. The scales have fallen from everyone's eyes and SOGGY has shown himself to be a wannabee Charlie Sale on this thread...
  21. ummm.... Where did I say anything about League games ? I said he didnt let us down when he played. End of.
  22. Its called having an OPINION. Your OWN opinion. You should try it sometime. In the meantime : "Baaaaaaaa....."
  23. I think people going on about Thomas and Perry being 5th and 6th choices are being disingenous. We could have a nightmare injury patch at any time. Both played last season, even after the January window, and didnt let the team down. If they were happy knowing they are 5th and 6th choice and wanted to stay, I would have offered. Those going on about Thomas large pay - he would be on a new contract, so would have a new (lesser) offer. But I personally would still have made the offer, even if it were rejected.
