We have ditched 13 players. I am simply suggesting I feel a case for 3 of them being made extending offers can be made. The situation at RB is clear though. It's hardly an "AP OUT" rant, panicking or continuing with a (non-existent) agenda as I have been accused of on here. For those who have commented on / criticised my post. Thomas had some useful performances last season and got a few critical goals. Perry never let the team down, and James would have had another season from me to show if he's got it. For all of those saying "AP got it right", as has been said on we are now RB-less, and Calderon hasnt been signed yet..

I am shocked at how deep the cuts are. I would have held on to Perry, Thomas and James. I hope AP knows what he is doing. This is fairly radical, and we cannot afford gelling time next season.

Apart from me and my kids ? Probably not. We were the only ones in red-and-white when they did a short training camp over here in summer 2004 just before Sturrock got sacked and they played Blau-Weiß Linz. Was quite an uncomfortable experience. At least Claus and Antii came and said hello...

Absolutely. And its bizarre. Yes, MLT gave us some superb memories, but the club was going nowhere. Under MLs support and NCs stewardship, this club could really achieve something. I think Matty has been foolish this time, and I think it is not being treacherous to him or belitting his role in our history to point it out.

At least the playoffs gave you the chance to repeat your single post from a different angle, eh ? Have we had your response to NCs statement yet ?

Sorry, despite his legend status amongst us all, he is not above criticism. I will not criticise him for his Pinnacle role, he was doing his bit to try to save the club. However, he should have kept his gob shut about AP.

Yep. Absolutely. And as Winnersaint says, Quality Reponse. For the first time in decades, we have a quality, professional, focused Chief Exec that is going to return us to the big-time and the hangers on can f**k right off. Yesterdays meeting was exactly what many of us thought - a standard business review and planning session. I for one think the club is in the best hands possible.

This whole situation is completely bonkers and getting worse.... Look, AP hasnt been fired, or we would know about it. If it happens, it happens, life goes on, FFS. He's not Alex-F**king-Ferguson..... Its clear than ML and NC are not going to play patsy with hysterical fans or a malicious media, so give it up and stop getting stressed about it.

The club is no longer a plc, its a private venture. What do you expect, exactly ? ML, and NC as his appointed CEO, can do what the hell they want.

And NC is a professional competent businessman who wants to do it now, unlike a certain person who hails from the Cotswolds who would have left it to the last minute. Thank The Maker we have NC now...
