  1. Call me prudish if you will, but I'd rather have a bloke owning the club who makes heavy machinery than one who makes dildos.
  2. I think your meassage is clear for all but SOGGY, SaintRobbie, but the illustration is a wee bit tasteless.
  3. LOL. Me too.
  4. LOL at which two it is. That's me told ;-)
  5. I just think "Matt Oakley" when I read that, and I didnt rate him much either.
  6. Gillett is in a rut and clearly needs to do something to kick-start his stagnated career. If he feels that means Doncaster Rovers, good luck to him. I just always find it a pity that players cannot buckle down and convince a manager of their worth.
  7. Whilst Lallana is currently blowing his critics (such as myself) out of the water with his performances, I am not convinced that Schneiderlin is the sort of player we need. I accept that he has improved the last few games, but I am having trouble dispelling my recollections of how bloody ineffective he was at the beginning of the season. What the hell, a couple of more wins and I'll probably be convinced too ;-)
  8. Ahhh. But a forum with your "type" of tedious, relentless comeback, trying to bore people into submission, is OK is it ? You couldnt make it up.............
  9. I dont think it has gone off the point at all. It has become personal, as usual, but all the threads tend to do that.
  10. Its not the Grim Reaper. It's Rorschach from the film Watchmen, and the character tends to see things as absolutes, black or white, which I thought was an interesting analogy as to what I tend to feel about SFC.
  11. I read the word "Oldham", think of Joe Royle and Andy Ritchie, and shudder...
  12. Come on then, what I have I been negative about recently ?
  13. How come you are allowed to say that and I am apparently not ??
  14. I couldnt give a damn if I came top of such a poll. If the sheep want to follow each other and accuse me of things I havent said, like "Pardew Out" it is more a reflection of their ability to observe and think about events independently that it is about my "hidden agenda". There is even a post on here accusing people of not saying "Pardew Out", but thinking it, FFS. Some people cannot handle different opinion, and thats the entire crux of the matter.
  15. But I bet you any sum you like that those two posters are not amongst the "4 or 5 obvious" posters that St. Marco was alluding to.. Maybe people like him should stop and think before stereotyping people..
  16. What a load of boll*cks. Talk about sweeping generalisations.
  17. I didnt start the thread, did I ? And in the thread where I asked about NC putting up with the situation, I made it perfectly clear that it could refer to the playing side as much as the managerial side. But please continue. Visualising you foaming at the mouth gives me a good laugh.
  18. Probably best all round. Best of luck to him.
  19. I havent argued the case of those substitutions myself either way. I just observed that some called them in to question.
  20. Wow, another attack. Quelle Surprise....
  21. I dont think the necessity of the substitutions themselves were questioned.
  22. We took the lead - twice - and surrendered it each time. And conceeded a losing goal subsequently. And many posters on here questioned the substitutions. You may have lost sight of the bigger picture in the rosy glow´of having been "entertained", and that's your perogative. But others didnt.
  23. In fairness though, look at what happened with Burley when Glyn Snodin left.
  24. Amen. I consider the Bristol Rovers result to have been a complete disaster and deservedly raised questions, but players and management alike have responded superbly and we finally seem to be on the right course.
