  1. He deserves a non-exec directorship.
  2. It certainly looks like its between Jackson and Pinnacle, and that the creditors will have to accept one or the other soon. Maybe the deadline has been extended because the stadium-only offer has gone tits-up.
  3. It could be that the creditors are not accepting the bids. He is simply pig-in-the-middle, imo. He has a tough job, but if it is true that he has gone back to the Jackson group, maybe the creditors have reset their expectation level a little. Pinnacle just come across as a bunch of BS merchants now..
  4. Would be nice to think that Crouch might engender a bit more respect in these parts. I wonder if he will be given the apprporiate level of respect if we end up finding a buyer, since it is almost certain his contributions (HIS, not Lowe's, not Wilde's, not the players, not Illingsworth's and his rabble's) will have allowed the club to survive and bridge the gap.
  5. You really are clutching at straws now. Barclays could have called in their debt or cut their overdraft at any time when they decided we were too big a risk. If it was so far from certain as you claim, why did they cut the overdraft ?
  6. If I am wrong, I still contend that the club folding was just round the corner anyway. We were on a downwards sprial that was going to hit rock-bottom sooner or later. If you want to desrcibe wanting administration as "wrong" at this premature stage, the "wrongest" it was is that it caused the end of the club a little earlier than might otherwise have happened.
  7. Noooooope.
  8. Not at all. It just came far, far, FAR too late.
  9. If the Premiership and the Football Association cannot see that they have conspired with Sky to kill English football in the evidence of the decline of clubs like Saints, Boro and Toon, and the utter sh*te served up by the national squad, then there really is no hope for the sport. At the moment, I am getting a big kick out of seeing my son's U9 team. Now there is real passion. The joy of seeing the fruit of your loins score is immeasurable...
  10. The problem is entirely yours. You arrogantly put fans into classes, and cant see past that. As for the quote above, people in glass houses shouldnt throw breeze-blocks..
  11. Looks like f**king Crystal Palace...
  12. Who has said they are happy about it ? We are where we are.
  13. But it makes him feel oh-so-clever to make that comment. Dont shatter his illusions...
  14. Yeah, but the way some on here fail to see that, you'd think it was Quantum Mechanics, let alone Rocket Science...
  15. I STILL dont think it will come to that.
  16. What a pathetic exercise in self-congratulation and c*ck-swinging. There is not a single person on here...NO-ONE...that is getting a kick out of or wallowing in delight at todays news. Just because you dont understand their perspective gives you no right to make such childish accusations.
  17. Any your alternative was......what ? Do remind me. You might think me wrong, but at least I give my opinion, not just come on here to slag others off for giving theirs, like you do. Therefore, it is impossible to even determine what you might have been wrong about...
  18. Yep. Also very delighted that I have the intelligence to recognise that administration from the perspective of ultimate fate of the club is irrelevant anyway, unlike some others. All administration did was flush out any parties interested in owning SFC. And, it has proven, there are none. Now we know. At least there was hope for a while. Lowe and Co would have lead to insolvency anyway eventually.
  19. Ah, well, that excludes me as a target for your oppobrium then...
  20. Thnks for the contribution. You are right of course, and some of us have been saying it for ages, but its always good to hear the same comments being made from someone not regarded as one of the residential seasoned gob-shiiites, like we are.
  21. Rubbish. When we were nudging the top three back in 2006, in a game against Derby, the attendance rocketed (forget Burley delivered a totally dire performance for now) This season when Wotte won three-in-a-row, attendances started increasing. That rennaisance was brought about by Saga's return. The facts do not support your bland generalisation. Results would have brought the fans back, and better players would ahve brought the results. Saga, Rasiak and Stern peed all over Euell and McG from a great height.
  22. You obviously have nothing to say, seeing as you've switched to pure abuse with zero content. Pathetic.
  23. Yep. The whole blaming the fans thing is utterly contemptible.
  24. Ahhhh, diddums. Starts pointing fingers then cannot hack it when others fight back... What ARE you going to do with your Saturday afternoons from now on ?
