  1. There is a caption under a photo of him on the Echo site. Anyone read the article yet ? Does "axed" mean leaving, or being demoted ?
  2. Its completely idiotic, isnt it ???
  3. So how come we dont know where he is going and are getting all worked up about hearsay from Plymouth Argyle, if that is the case ???
  4. The 21 day exclusivity period ends on Friday. Last time I looked at a calendar, that was 19th June 2009. Also, last time I looked, that was 12 days before 1st July 2009. So maybe those sneering at me about him being out of contract should shut the f**k up. The new owners have a chance to offer him a new contract before he can do anything about Argyle. Hopefully, they already know which players they want to make an effort to keep. And have had some discussions to that end.
  5. Indeed. Pathetic comments. We know nothing about the new owner, resources to be made available to the club, and have no signals of intention yet. Rasiak will either do the business for us or get us some money in to buy someone who can. Until such time, I think concluding we cannot afford such a natural goalscorer is tw*ttish.
  6. How can this be happening if we dont know if the new owners and potential new manager rates him ? Its a bit previous...
  7. Yes, patience is a virtue. However, the procrastinating is about to lose us a decent goalkeeper, according to the Echo.
  8. They could have just posted nothing, as they frequently did when Lowe was too busy to write the copy. Why dont you drop your petty crusade against our best current striker ?
  9. I would argue that for the reason you have given, or for other as-of-yet unspecified reasons, the situation is far from a foregone conclusion.
  10. That is your preogative, of course. But the longer things drag on, you cannot be really surprised that some people are getting jittery..
  11. Who have I lashed out at without provocation, exactly ? I expressed my frustration (which I am sure others share) on here, and got roundly abused for it..How do you expect me to react ?
  12. Wassa madda, need two bites of the cherry today ???
  13. Yep. You are talking utter rubbish. Pinnacle have been talking to Fry for AT LEAST a month prior to that. Btw, if we extrapolate your "complexity greater than a house sale" argument, this means we are unlikely to be able to start this season, if you think about it, since the sale wont be completed in time, and probably the club will go into admin as well.
  14. No it doesnt, but then the subtlety is obviously wasted on you. Maybe thats what all parties thought, but it being our beloved club, it simply hasnt turned out that way.
  15. Wow, another typcial lunatic jump in logic by NickG. How unusal. I havent called anyone a liar. And the last update we had from TL was nearly a week ago. How do you know it isnt going tittus verticus this week ?
  16. Rubbish. Utter rubbish. When a house is being sold it is being dealt with by conveyancing solicitors with piles of files on their desks. Searches are required that are also queued up for miles. This is a coporate purchase. It is a totally different legal framework being dealt with by totally different lawyers with totally different priorities AND work loads. And for those of you using this pathetic analogy, I suggest you try buying a house at the moment against a backdrop of a massively depressed housing market and see how much faster it is happening now compared to what your perceptions of a couple of years ago are...
  17. Yawn.... And it's alpine to you. Preferably Mr. Alpine.
  18. I find the house analogy a frightful over-simplification. Pinnacle were in discussion for weeks in advance of the exclusivity announcement, proving funds, for example. We also led to believe the price was agreed before the exclusivity announcement. So we are being led to believe that the 21 days are just about preparing legal documents. That seems like b*ll**ks to me...
  19. Dont understand why distance is the overriding fact. Especially when the difference between Swindon and Brighton is so small. Brighton is a coastal town like us. It just feels like there is more similarities/rivalries. As in with the blue scum. What do we have to argue over with Swindon ??
  20. I would regard Brighton as being the Derby game.
  21. What date does the season start ? I am in the UK from 13/08 to 26/08, and would love to take a game in.
  22. Probably something like that, but there is also a more sinsiter interpretation, that not everthing is a peachy as is being made out...
  23. Oh yes, the pinnacle of wit to a media studies stoodent..
  24. Normal roller-coaster of emotions relating to the ups and downs of something I care about. Exactly the same as a tight game of football Your problem is what, exactly ?
