After Mary Corbett's stupidity in relation to Mike Wilde, did you really satisfy yourself that Pinnacle/Lynam/Fialka were genuine before putting your name to Pinnacle's bid ? (however, I agree with the others - your heart was in the right place, you've more than done your bit)

A good point. IF (and its a big bloody "if" at the moment) another deal completes, and the FL conditions become clear, we will know either way.

Unless we know the conditions the FL made and when we made them, why is it safe to assume Pinnacle are taling b*llocks ? Maybe the FL really torpedoed the deal, or maybe Pinnacle really were bullsh*tters all along, but at the moment it isnt clear to me either way.

Do they REALLY think screwing clubs in financial difficulty can serve as an example that will somehow prevent other clubs from falling into it ? Every club except the big 4 are in the same position - overstretch yourself financially and cross your fingers it works out, because the alternative is going out of business and out of the League. Arent they supposed to be protecting the game in this country ?
