  1. heheheh. Wish I'd taken up that wager now.
  2. But if we come out of the other side of it, all the egos will be gone, the debt will be gone and we can start focussing on the important issues. Provided a team in red-and-white step out onto the field at SMS in the second week of August, administration will have been proven the way forward.
  3. So, here we are, the end of the PLC era, the day many of us were dreaming of. Anyone feel different ? I suppose its just worry about the ultimate fate of the club and stadium that makes me not want to break out the champers...
  4. Announcement on preferred bidder imminent ???
  5. It either means that no-one is buying SLH but an announcment of the sale of the two main assets (SFC and SMS) is about to be announced, or it means we are screwed. Nail-biting time..
  6. Looks like we have reached the end of the line :-( EDIT - I've changed my mind. All it actually means the end of the line as a PLC, which is actually good news.
  7. Looks like we've finally reached the brink..
  8. Says the person who goes out of his way to make excuses for a totally discredited manager (Burley) and widely discredited chairman (Lowe) just to make himself feel "special" and to get some attention.... I'm a bastion of sanity compared to you...
  9. A rather tactless and extreme analogy, but I catch your drift..
  10. Yep, that's all you've got left, isnt it ?
  11. With all due respect mate, I knew we were going to end up here when Lowe came back. Him returning was like puring petrol on the financial flames..
  12. Wes, give up. The bloke is a stubborn mule who is trying to masquerade as not being a Lowe Luvvie under an increasingly thin-wearing veneer of "balance"
  13. Yep. I'd also add to #1 that it was actually Southampton City Council that bailed Lowe out by offering Brtiannia Rd up as an alternative when Lowe screwed up at Stoneham. I wonder what the purpose of this thread is, really. Will the apologists for Lowe shut the f**k up when we have new owners ?
  14. And I am one of them. Are you ???
  15. The second one, I reckon. Lowe and Wilde to get nothing. Great news if this is the case.
  16. Seeing as the Barclays debt is only ~4m, this must be for the club and the stadium. Reckon this is good news. Hope Fry and bidder can close the gap, and the bidder has some money for the squad.
  17. Great. Lets f**k up the pitch..
  18. We cannot sell season tickets We have no idea which (if any) players we will have We cannot work on building a squad We do not know which manager and backroom staff we will have Do we even know which kit we will have ? -10 points - at least Oooo yes. Really looking forward to it...
  19. All true. Good post. How amazing that those that claim to seek "balance" are actually rabid anti-Crouch, and are actually as disinterested in reality as those they continually berate for being anti-Lowe in an imbalanced way...
  20. None of us are suggesting that you Lowe apologists be gagged though...
  21. Go on then, recommend whoever it is that worked for you (you reckon...)
  22. Desperate and pathetic.... I couldnt give a flying f**k about balance. I express my belief. Wind up merchants say whatever they need to in order to get a rise, whereas I wear my heart on my sleeve. Hardly surprising that prissy little anodyne fence-sitters like you have trouble appreciating that.
