I agree with you completely. He was really keen to join us, I reckon, and in my opinion he did the business in his first season, despite intermittent use by that idiot manager of the time. however, he was really piissed off by same said manager last season. I reckon he has played reasonably amongst the idiocy fielded this season... Why do people get on his back ? I can only think they feel somehow he has let down the #7 shirt. however, he has done better than Andreii Kanchelskis did, and I am not sure many players can fill the shoes of Keegan or Matty...

You just dont get it, do you ? Wotte was NOT a new manager, fresh in. He was the assitant in the regime that has been declared very publicly to not be working. He knows the players, the tactics, the restrictions under which JP was working, has been involved in match preparation and the post mortems after matches. He has also watched the season unfold. Therefore, his line-up tonight was unforgivable, and at half-time we got the same story we've had a dozen times this season. As far as I am concerned, if he f**ks the team selection up for Swansea, or plays only one up front against them, his fate is sealed.

I give credit where its due. Wotte threw the game away with shiite starting line-up. I am not going to toss off of over the fact that he managed to correct his very amateurish mistakes eventually. If he couldnt do that, it would be immediately apparent he is the wrong man for the job.
