Do you slag off articles by Nick "I dont speak for the fan base. No, REALLY" Illingsworth when they get printed in the Echo ? Nah, thought not. If you want to slag someone off, slag the Echo off for posting ANY "personal perspectives" from celebrity fans, or dont slag off any one at all.

I reckon any result where we lose by less than three goals, especially if we get one, can be called a result for us.

what is hard to take when thinking about it

Good post. -
hehehehehe

Yeah, right, what a load of complete bolllocks. When is the club going to stop the spin and insulting our intelligence over him. It's as plain as f**k he's had another reaction in his knee to his 45mins reserves and is never going to play for us again. I suppose it serves a purpose - it drags out the time required to get another CB in on loan with more favourable contract terms (no appearance fees) than Perry
-
If he tries that stunt, he will sign his own death warrant. Taking on Matty wouldnt be like trying to take on Lawrie Mac.
-
We're gonna get tonked. Last week, we could use the ref as an excuse. This week it will be "was always going to be difficult to get a result from this fixture". Next weeks excuse ? Whatever it is, SFC and JP must be running on short supply of them.
-
Surman, Lallana, Schneiderlin and Davies will be gone in January, along with whoever else attracts attention. Time to face facts. We are sooo going down.
-
Considering how diplomatic Matty usually is about goings-on at SFC / SMS, this is tantamount to a damning endictment of the current set-up.

A team to charm neutrals and madden the faithful

I still seem to know a f**k of a lot more about the situation of the team you profess to support than you do though..... -
Is it ? I suggest you go and have a read of the Guardian report, for starters. You want to grow up a bit and accept that just because our players managed to put on a good show in a game already lost, does not mean the clubs problems are solved (Illingsworth's "veridct" on his site today is absolutely hillarious - I swear Lowe is paying him), and does not mean being more cynical about things is suddenly forbidden. I couldnt care less if you lot keep banging on about my attendance, since paying a fortune to be there doesnt seem to have done a lot for some of your awareness of how f**ked the club is. Nevermind, you've been entertained and your incredibly low(e) thresholds satisfied, eh ?

I note with amusement that despite the fact I am being slagged off on here for passing certain judgements on that game withóut seeing it, those in the press that did see it are passing the same judgements. 1. Whatever dominance we had in the second half, we lost the game in the first half. 2. Whatever pretty and entertaining midfield and forward play we can offer is totally undermined by our rubbish defence (note the cryptic comment about Perry too...) -
Completely deluded. Looking forward to your positivity after Reading have put 5 past us...
-
Euell will be suspended, Pearce cant play, Killer and Holmes are still injured. Reading will put 5 past us.

Who said I'd given up ? Would I waste so much time on here if I had ? If I was really attention-seeking, I could go to any sort of site and get a wind-up going. I care about this club too. But, whether you like it or not, pretty football and lots of spirit are not going to save this club from going out of business if it does not deliver the results required. The simple fact of the matter is that the squad and coaching team are not up to the task, and the managment are pursuing an already-failed strategy out of arrogance and stubborness. Why does it not make you angry ? It makes me furious seeing our clubs history go down the u-bend.

Sorry, its not working anymore. I can see from 1000 miles away what you are stubbornly refusing to see even though you are frequently much less than 1000 metres away. The non-attendance argument is completely hollow. We put out a crap line-up again, were 2 goals down in 20mins and should have been 3 down in 40mins. The damage was done. We were never going to get something after that. Going down to ten men has only given you and your whinging ilk a get-out excuse for this game.
-
No, he said the ex-pro commentators. You REALLY are having a problem with the English Language today, it seems...........
-
No, but that's not what you wrote. Taking into account your lack of self-awareness (or embarrassment, considering the follow-up abuse) here it is again : "it wasn't until the first Wolves attack that they scored" Possibly the most mongy comment to have been made on here in recent times....
-
No. Time to play 11 defenders.
-
Never mind, you carry on shooting the messenger.....
-
Wow, no shiit ??? Never heard of a team scoring before their first attack, I must say...
-
hehehehe. A Skate on a wind-up. It must be, considering what complete inflamatory drivel you have written.
-
Informed ? I suppose you are one of the Self-Appointed Ueber-Fans who think that posessing a season ticket entitles you to be in complete denial about the situation the club is in whilst you sneer at everyone else who dares to offer an opinion ? Reply to me or dont - I couldnt give a shiny one. But considering your "informed" position, you are still writing bolllocks.
-
Nothing to "turn". Teams with 10 players frequently play better. I believe we have done so already this season before today.
-
Yep, he means me. Amusing he moans about me attention seeking then repeats once a day how he's put me on ignore... Seriously, I feel sorry for anyone who needs to block out the considered opinion of another fan because they dont like it. The only person I have on ignore is SOGGY, and that's because his stalking was becoming worryingly manic in nature..
