Well, goodbye I guess. I’ll always remember… oh let’s be honest, it’s the Wolves ‘goal’ isn’t it?
-
It’s not a question of effort, those players are just better than the ones playing in our own academy.
-
We haven’t had any overseas players in the ODC for the last couple of years, presumably to save money because it’s low priority. I’m guessing we just want to give A and A a run out before the next county match.
-
It’s not inconceivable that we’re negotiating a sale for RS. If he’s near enough full fitness, I imagine there’ll be a few suitors.
-
You wouldn’t say that to Evander Holyfield’s face.
-
Thank. F**k.

If the good lord had wanted us to play on Sunday...
-
We’d be better off going with Stubbs than O’Riley.
-
Brooks had many games last season where he was anonymous. Some good ones too but overall I wasn’t particularly enamoured. I still think some people are underestimating the step back up to the premier league, we need players who made mincemeat of the Championship not ‘squad players’.
-
Brooks was hit and miss in the Championship, I wouldn’t take him now.
-
Wilson scored 10 goals in all comps last season, 9 in the PL and one against Chelsea in the cup. I'd only want him on loan personally but he's got a far better recent record than Ings and that's all that matters. As for the latter's 20 goal season, that was a one-off five years ago. His second best season is 12.

The Armstrong stuff now lives here.

TBH we don’t have one single player who I’m sure is PL quality, beyond KWP who may well be off. There’re a handful, like THB and Suga, who I hope can step up, and Bednarek and Taylor, who are okay enough for a relegation fight, but not much else.
-
What’s the point in playing six bowlers if they’re all averaging about 10. I guess we’re trying a few things out with younger players but Wheal, Turner and Jack is just an awful bowling attack. P*ssed wickets away all game too.
-
It’s a fair point though. Many of my favourite F1 liveries from years gone by had fags and booze plastered all over them.
-
What do you mean, why is it done?
-
It’s been widely circulated on social media for months. Whether it’s true or not is a different matter.

They have a nicer sponsor logo but the actual kit is nothing worth writing a musical about. I wonder if we’re the only fans who do this or if the Arsenal forum is full of people saying, “it looks like a Bristol City kit,” every summer.
-
I genuinely can’t see what everyone hates about it. It’s a definite improvement on last year’s IMO because a) it doesn’t just look half red/pink from any kind of distance. B) the sponsors logo doesn’t have a bit white plastic ‘O’ on the end on it. Theres nothing exciting about it and I can’t imagine buying one but I don’t see anything to get upset about either.
-
It’s okay I guess, nothing too exciting. The sponsor logo at least fits neatly onto the design. I just hope the build quality is decent.
-
At least he once did a decent job in the PL, unlike Southgate who’s only experience is taking Middlesbrough from the UEFA Cup final to relegation in three years.
-
His ‘navigation’ mainly consisted of going 1-0 up against Serbia and then being sh*t for the remaining four hours of football. Don’t forget in 2018 he bizarrely managed to get a favourable draw by losing to Belgium and finishing second. To do that and then get Colombia, Sweden and Croatia was an astonishing turn of luck.
-
Neither has 75% of the football league. Saints are basically the Slovenia of the PL, I wouldn’t have expected them to win something major against the likes of City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
-
We’ve only actually won two games.
-
Saints have had far more bottle than England. Promotion in 2011 and 2012, the JPT, Anfield in 2017, Swansea away in 2018, the 2024 playoffs. We’re not perfect by a long way but there have been many times when we’ve held our nerve and got the job done.
