I’m pretty sure that was Stephens he was leaning on. Hope this helps. -

I don't think that one was quite in the Gabbiadini realms of 'we were robbed'. -

This is going to be like that tie at West Ham a few years ago, when everyone was furious at Ralph for putting the reserves out and we went and spanked them. 3-0 Saints, COYS! -

He could really get his teeth into a game like this. -
Who said anything about attacking anyone? I'd be more than happy for NATO troops to go and hang out in the none-occupied part of Ukraine. Russia is perfectly free to leave them alone, which they obviously would.
-
So sending troops to Ukraine would constitute escalatory warmongering? Is there anyone else you think that perhaps might apply to?

Beating Liverpool at Anfield is not more realistic than overhauling a 5 point gap on Leeds and Ipswich and even if it was, that just gets us into the next round against (probably) another PL side. -

I'd like to think that the team aren't quite as defeatist as this. Yes, it looks unlikely we'll beat Leeds and Ipswich but I doubt we've thrown the towell in with over ten games still to play. -
We’ve literally never done anything like that.

I had to turn that off before it gave me diabetes.
-
I’ve yet to watch a single game in the history of football where I was glad to see extra time.

You can't 'avoid injuries' they happen when they happen. Keeping players fresh is part of season long squad management, we've been doing it all season with midweek games. Avoiding suspensions will only really come into play on the last game, if someone is on 9 yellows and we're mathematically out of the automatic race. Decent form, so like I said just keep trying to win every game.

So 1-0 down after 5 minutes, at home to a team who’ve just lost 6 out of 7, and that’s it; game over, pack up and go home?
-
You don’t even have to be sh*t, just look at all the negativity on here now when we’re 4th in the league. Stoke, Blackburn, Brum…. We could easily be next on that list.

The autos are by no means gone but it's looking a very tall order. Our 3 defeats in 4 game out of the blue, after an incredible run of good form and against 3 teams you'd say were bread and butter victories. There's no reason that can't happen to Leeds or Ipswich, although it's very unlikely to happen to both. We've just got to put February behind us, like we did September, and do what we can in the remaining games. Hit form at the right time and you never know.

I am liking it, although my only gripe would be about half of the Gladiators are trying too hard to be the new Wolf-style, self proclaimed bad boy/girl. It was fun in the nineties when it was just him, now it just feels like they're after more Instagram followers and a stint on Love Island.

He was Pompey's player of the season and for the most part he has been absolutely fine this season. Anyone playing in the Championship is going to make a fair share of mistakes, goalkeepers included. I've seen plenty of goals against other teams this season which Baz would have been absolutely slaughtered for, against keepers who fans have been absolutely raving about.

Alcaraz has been consistently poor this season and Rothwell has already matched his contribution with the two goals against udders. I don't know where you're dreaming up that stuff about selling KWP. We didn't in summer, we didn't in January and the only two players we did let go were contributing very little.
-
I think we were trying to play in field more because sticking crosses in to their 6ft 14in CB, Cooper, was never going to yield much fruit.

The Mary Rose, The Titanic or the Exxon Valdez?

First half I thought we generally looked decent enough, even though we went in behind. Looked like crap keeping for their first goal, the penalty I didn’t get a good view of from the Northam/Kingsland corner. I thought Manning should have started, or at least been on for JS at half time. It’s Millwall at home, if ever there was a game for an attack minded, weaker defensively player, it’s this one. Losing Fraser was obviously a big blow, this was a game where players like Edozie and Sully just didn’t have space to run into. I wouldn’t have made the Adams - AA sub either, if anything I’d have brought on Mara for Adams and AA for Brooks, who was very quiet. Smallbone and Rothwell both looked sh*t to me too. Second half we just completely ran out of ideas and the little incident down by the corner flag at the end clearly showed their heads had gone. THB managed to talk himself into an utterly pointless booking and KWP was lucky not to get a brainless sending off, smacking the ball at a player lying on the ground. With Hull result, Leeds beating Leicester and today, that’s basically a 9 point shift in the automatic promotion race inside 4 days. Pretty s**t week all round.
