OMG wow, it’s almost as if people on the internet are just pushing the same made up rumours around the internet to generate clicks and retweets.

I’ve just checked and Christ, it’s worse if anything. Including the first ever league game at St Mary’s, we’ve W1 D2 L10. That’s not including a 5-1 Cup defeat under Adkins.

I never get the logic of why people say that. In what way does it make the club look better if we try and fail to sign a bunch of players? I think it’s pretty clear we are after a forward although whether a suitable player if forthcoming and within our budget remains to be seen.

Players don’t care about stadiums and how ‘big’ a club is, they care about money and the chance to play in the premier league, which in turn leads to more money. I could see something like this happening.

Basically the same team IMO. Keep Mara and either Stu or Aribo to change things second half.

Mings isn’t going to come here and be back up. One of JS/JB will leave and we’ll be left with a bog standard 4 senior CBs and Valery as an option in an emergency. We aren’t bringing in another CB.

What people are missing is that the use of five subs has fundamentally changed the game; the best XI players don’t necessarily start the game any more. Two years ago we lost this game, having been 2-0 up, because they were able to bring on Cavani whilst we brought on Shane Long. We’re going to need something on the bench to up the ante second half, and that something isn’t Moi.

Im aware he’s seen more of an attacking midfielder, he’s still an attacking option we didn’t have last year who looks like he has goals in him. West Ham (who’s form dropped off a cliff much like ours at the end of last season), Leicester, Brighton, Brentford and Leeds could all have taken a big step backwards, we just don’t know.

If the Leicester game had panned out the other way around, everyone would be raging that, having taken the lead through a set piece in a cagey game, Ralph was completely out-thought by a far more adept and versatile manager, with a much better plan B.

We’re clearly looking for a striker, if we can’t find one within our budget then what do you want us to do? We’ve replaced Broja with Aribo and Mara, which on early showing is hardly a tragedy even if we get nobody else. I don’t particularly give a sh*t how the club try to spin anything.

I don’t get the reference. We’re quite obviously not lacking a tall, physical CB. Even Bednarek, for his faults, is 6’ plus and gets stuck in.

We’ve got two 6’3" CBs in the team already, how massive and brutish were you thinking? Anyone taller than that is likely to be scrawny, tectonically slow or just sh*t.

It’s quite astonishing how stuff like that happens. Nathan Dyer convicted of burglary, Nile Ranger for fraud, there are countless others. Jhon Viafara must have been paid £2-3m JUST from his three years and Saints and Pompey and yet he’s currently serving 11 years for having bags of powder in his brown suitcase. Strange.
