Why did they not bring Toney/Watkins if not using them in a game like that

No just pragmatic and see his end of season vs whole season perception barometer being out of whack. We've already got Downes/Bragg for his largely defensive role, so if we need to cash in big(like we did with Dibling last year) he could be a prime candidate

On paper I can’t say mulligan appeals hugely. No goals in 41 games last season. Still hoping we triggered the extra year for Charles and manage to keep hold of him.

I see Bragg more as back up to downes. Haven’t seen anything that suggests he would be a replacement for the role Charles plays.

Yep club come off badly in my eyes. They had plenty of time to pick up the option even after we were caught spying. Were they too thick to understand the contract. Regardless it’s hardly going to make Stewart feel valued.
