Cmon, scienza barely played the last game and now he can’t do more than 45 minutes

I find this modern dogmatic formation rigidity stuff bizarre. We need an extra midfielder to combat their tactics as we haven’t a target man. There are times playing 523 will work well, this clearly isn’t one of them.

A proper manager would change formation at ht. millwall quite happy playing for an away point and letting cb have the ball.

Really poor half. So much non threatening scared possession football. think scienza is drifting wide too often too. Really hate how deep we sit on defensive corners. We make zero effort to stop second balls.

The lack of a big target man really hampered us there. Only real threat was coming from scienza.

That was my gut feeling ( he should have closed down striker).

Also peak saints to play a team without their star striker and let the replacement score twice. Also while I know their second was a handball, but I have zero faith bazanu would have saved the pre-handball shot.

Team has zero clue what to do once they go behind. even the couple of times in the last 15 when we did play it forward, no saints players could be bothered getting into opposition half to compete for the second ball.
