Baird of the land

Only seen the highlights so can’t comment on his performance. Reading comments doesn’t seem that the midfield was dire but neither was it excellent.

Great to see how well larin and azaz have started (and now scienza back up to speed. Great to beat a promotion rival emphatically, let’s hope we can build momentum off the back of it.

Still reallly dislike the move as Charles replacement. now it’s done I hope he and rest of our midfield prove me wrong.

You really think he's gone one of highest paid at WH to peanuts here

We've taken on his big wages for 2 years and given west ham money, that's laughably horrible.

Maybe Spors has bet money on West Ham getting promoted

No a saints fan that wants a midfielder to go forwards not sideways and backwards

Super depressing signing.

Vranckx career seems to have stalled somewhat. 7 goals in his 3 years and then none in 4.

Yep at this level going for another sideways plodder over a box to box type is going to cost us points.

Hoping you mean jwp is past it, not that we’ve signed the crab.

Might as well bring back Joe Aribo then we'll truly have the full set of crabs.

Why if we're being told we should accept an over the hill free crab as a replacement for Charles.

I expect us to reinvest a significant proportion of the transfer fee into signing someone with similar dynamism to Charles. I doubt if THB leaves you'll be championing signing Jannik vestergaard on a free.

So subs have no impact on games. Jander also didn't start multiple games during the winning run so guess he's not being missed either. Just a shocking coincidence our unbeaten run coincided with the ability to rotate excellent quality CM's as starters and bring on the other as a quality impact player.

Maybe the some who didn’t rate Charles and think jwp is ok are the same delusional people. i certainly made clear how badly we’d miss Charles and have missed him, and think jwp is in no way a suitable replacement.

I think it’s pretty clear if he comes it won’t be as bragg’s replacement, it will be at expense of a replacement of Charles. So that’s my consideration to be so firmly against, as a real like for like Charles replacement is essential.

I fully expect to now spend the season shouting in frustration while our crabs don’t run with the ball and instead recycle the ball slowly.

I was hoping this was just Blackmore idiocy. This atrocious rumour seems to be building up a head of steam, which isn’t something I’d expect from our midfield if it comes to pass.

Or forward to trailing 1 nil to Lincoln and our crab midfield options pass the ball slowly sideways and backwards continually.

Why did none of our useless players like Aribo negotiate their own release. please go to Charlton prowsey.

Maybe we can replace Thb with Vestergaard too. That’ll save the club having to purchase a real replacement for that position either.

It’s been depressing enough watching the crablike midfield we’ve put out these last few games. Signing a mega crab instead of someone who can run with the ball would take the biscuit.

Why are the only options an over the hill crab or no one at all. We can and should buy a dynamic charles replacement instead

Really hoping this is bs. Ends any enthusiasm if we are going full crab and not replacing charles dynamism.
