Is VAR suddenly becoming our friend?
-
Umm Ramsdale what a shocker
-
The immediate threat of onachu Knowing our luck it'll be offside
-
I don't really get why we've gone back to the try and pass the across an back anytime we get around their area. That KWP shot at the end is only time since i've been watching that anyone took any responsibility to try and do anything.
-
Saints looked so lackadaisical in the build up to that goal In particular why was kwp standing a mile off him.
-
Are saints ever going to learn about suicidally playing around with the ball on the edge of their own box
-
I’m assuming (changes) are a conditioning thing. Though does annoy me slightly seeing Armstrong getting a million opportunities.
-
Definite some shoots of optimism, though th collapse was depressing predictable You do wonder about the fitness levels. Hoping Charles returning can add something to the midfield depth.
-
Smallbone who has been injured most of the season/ seems less of fit for new manager seems an obvious candidate for a loan move.
-
As someone who has watched quite a bit of Charles and rate him. I was happy for him to go out on loan and play (as he wasn't a great fit with Martin's approach, was out of favour and his confidence was clearly affected. Situation has changed now though we"ve got a new manager who seems a better fit and loan has revitalised him. On your 2nd point, I think he should have a bigger role. So I think it's much better if he's plays for us in terms of preparation for next season.
-
Would anger me if that's the rationale for recalling him rather than playing him ourselves.
-
Fab news. Hope he gets a run in the team. Wonder if we plan to let someone else leave. Smallbone maybe.
-
Guess it'll be the same starting lineup as sunday. From what i saw yesterday utd threat seemed to be on the break. Curious how they do in a game where they need to take the initiative. Hopefully we can frustrate them and somehow keep it close.
-
I'm desperately hoping we call him back. Think we are exceptionally weak in midfield and would love to see him used properly in midfield for us. Have a feeling it will be another tella situation where spend the rest of the season bemoaning our CM options while he continues to excel at Wednesday.
-
Handy there is no var
-
What was Sully’s finger celebration about. Has he been getting some stick from the crowd?
-
Very noticeable they don’t have a real cb playing and their reserve keeper is poor. at least it’s a nice confidence booster so far
-
No Abk even on the bench. Does that mean a move is close?
-
No strikers at all. How disappointing. is bree playing as a cb or is manning playing left mid
-
What sort of answer are we talking about. Seems to me Moyes is a pretty safe pair of hands, who will make the most of resources given to him.
-
Resource wise i don't think Ramsdale was a great signing. the whole goalkeeping situation was completely botched this summer so that we ended up splurging a massive fee on him at the deadline as well as beeing stuck with mccarthy for the future. Would be ideal if Newcastle are desperate enough that we get that full fee back this wondow rather than settling for less in the summer.
-
I'm excited at the prospect of a game where there is a slight prospect of a win.
-
I see the audio of the ramsdale goal has come out. Apparently mateta just rests a hand on him. what a load of garbage.
-
I’d argue it was a coaching misfit last season. Think he would make a difference this season as our midfield is extremely poor.
-
Disagree completely. There’s the benefit of giving him extra months to work with Juric, as well as helping saints avoiding a record low points total.
