  1. It's pure laziness on the clubs part isn't it. They know we'll sell out the allocation and they don't care about looking after people who have made the effort in earlier rounds. Joke.
  2. Ticket details: http://mobile.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/tickets-sheffield-united-vs-southampton-capital-one-cup-round-5-16122014-2076369.aspx Absolute bull**** that non season ticket holders who went to Stoke, Millwall and Aresenal get no recognition in the ticket process.
  3. So you're sort of saying Europe is one borderless federal community? I guess that's why I'd vote to leave. I know we get regional grants back etc but we effectively put in far more than we get back, and are then told what we are allowed to spend our change on. But we live in a global world, do you not think regardless of what continent you come from you should be judged on your merit and what you can bring to the UK? If anything in my opinion there is a stronger argument for an open door to New Zealand etc because of our strong cultural ties. Not that I'd support an open door from anywhere.
  4. And there it is...the 'Little Englander' card for anyone who believes in controlling numbers of European immigration into our country.
  5. I was speaking to someone pretty high in the medical profession (and a UKIP voter) who was basically saying the government is stoping or at least making it incredibly difficult for people from outside the EU who the NHS are genuinely crying out for, to come because they are desperately trying to get immigration figures down from outside the EU to compensate for the growling influx of unskilled labour coming in from within the EU which they can't control. Like wise I work with a women from Africa who married an Englshmen and works her arse off etc but has had to jump through hoop after hoop, and has had to spend thousands. A lot on this thread seem unable to understand you can have a managed immigration policy without a complete open door. Surely it's one of the basic rolls of a modern day govt, to be abe to monitor and control numbers coming into the country inline with infrastructure/jobs etc? Even more so for such a small overcrowded country like ours. Can someone on here please explain why a New Zealnder should be discriminated against in favour of a Bulgarian? Because that's what a lot are defending on here. And before I get the usual 'but lots of Brits live in Spain, Frace etc' let's bare in mind over a million Brits live in Oz, well over a million in Canada and the US, well over 200,000 in NZ etc etc.
  6. The 'academic' who wrote that was the same person who informed the Labour Party just 12,000 Eastern Europeans would come.
  7. I'm keeping faith it will reach general. Long way, just before Christmas, and a pretty big allocation..
  8. Bit of a long shot but completely stuck for getting to Villa from Oxford, as no late trains or national expresses back, so was wondering if anyone driving from Oxford way could spare a seat? Would split petrol obviously. Cheers.
  9. Why does the BBC give him so much air time, and free publicity, it's a joke. I'd respect him if he practised what he preached, but the fact is he's an Eco warrior socialist who drives around in a 80k Range Rover, has a Hollywood mansion, jets around the world living the high life and hoards millions of pounds of his own means I don't. I don't disrespect him for doing all that- I just despise the way he does it whilst taking the moral high ground on inequality, climate change etc. Utter hypocrite.
  10. I'll vote UKIP and although there's an element of 'protest' I.e a two fingers up to the three main parties, I genuinely do however support a lot of the policies UKIP is trying to push. Leaving the EU, a points based immigration system which not only sees a reduction in numbers, but also treats a New Zealander equal to a Romanian, no tax on minimum wage, abolish inheritance tax, lower 40% tax threshold, no wind farms, no hs2 etc. Something I do think the party risks doing though is promising something to everyone because they're not going to be in a position to have to deliver. Unless I was a Conservative my vote is utterly useless though, because my constituency would elect a parrot if it had a blue rosette on.
  11. 'Stevie Davis Our ulster boy, Stevie Davis our ulster boy' to the tune of Tom Hark I've tried to no avail.
  12. Lost my customer number and didn't sort it in time , so after two spares. But would take just the one too.
  13. I think he's very popular locally though, and as he's a staunch Eurosceptic who wants controlled borders, a smaller state etc, a lot of potential UKIP voters would have continued to back him even if he stayed blue.
  14. I don't know about this- would it not look fickle/timid of MP's to watch from the sidelines and then jump on board once they are more confident of getting in? I think Carswell has generally gained lots of support because his move looks bold and a bit of a 'principled gamble'.
  15. Amongst other things he's stated that his position changed after having a meeting with Cameron's advisers where he came to the conclusion the referendum was not out of genuine intentions to change the UK's relationship with the EU, but instead to just use it as a election campaign tool to get back in (shock). Some on here obviously won't give him any credit- but the man could have opted for the safe option of running again for the Tories, he's instead followed his principles and taken on a huge challenge whilst doing so. Fair play to him. The other clear reason for him leaving , like a lot of Tories, he's fed up of the way the party is out of touch with its grassroots supporters and seemingly run by a cleek of people who have no principles other than getting reelected.
  16. Enoch was in my eyes a man who loved his country dearly, albeit provocatively at times, and feared seeing traditional working class communities torn apart by mass immigration. He was merely saying that if immigration from certain countries/cultures is at such a high level in a short space of time, instead of integrating into British culture they will just set up their own 'new' communities. This has now happened and only a deluded loony lefty would not be able to see the damage it's done to our society and cohesion. These multiculturalist nut cases have now created the absurd scenario where we have our own so called British nationals planning attacks against us, groups of men praying on white girls because they deem them inferior and fair game, and white British now being an increasing minority in the country's own capital city. It could be worse, we could be France (hence the success of the national front), areas of France are becoming more and more Islamic and at current birth rates it's only going to carry on faster and faster.
  17. I hope they stay with us with a convincing NO vote , I think for the English to feel positive about the whole thing it's got to be more of a 60/40+ yes vote, as opposed to 55/45. The silver lining for me if they do vote YES will be the damage to the Labour party and their chances. There is part of me that feels the Scots are very much different politically. End of the day though i consider myself British (as well as English). I've found it a bit sad through the campaign how it's all sort of revolved around finance issues- not the question of, do you consider yourself British and do you want to keep are sort of sibling relationship or split away and be nothing more than a foreign country. If they do vote YES things will probably get pretty nasty - the British public will rightly feel like the Scots have given us the middle finger, and that would result in people not wanting the government to give them easy concessions.

  19. Encouraging a society where we feel a love and respect to our surroundings, and a pride in our history ,traditions, and family who came before us. What a horrible hateful idea. Tell you what would make for a much happier society, one where we feel absolutely no positive emotions towards our country and communities, and wallow in self loathing when it comes to our history. I might add I'm not sticking up for Britain First.
  20. It's worth pointing out UKIP's vote share would as gone up a fair bit, and would have got another two MEPs if it wasn't for the fake UKIP party at the top of the ballot fooling a lot of people in every region. When you look at the way a lot of towns/cities in particular in the south have been divided so much by northern African immigration, couple that with high unemployment and an awful Hollande government, it's not surprising Front National did so well in France.
  21. Some pretty amazing results coming through. UKIP getting 45% share of the vote in some wards. It's brilliant that Labour are now finally having to accept UKIP are hammering them as well. Look at somewhere like Rotherham, UKIP have in fact beaten Labour in the overall vote count. I don't want to start guessing, but it certainly makes Sunday's result look potentially very interesting.
  22. Some young journalist at Huff Post HQ terrified of the disgusting normal, bigoted, masses going out to vote UKIP, probably!
  23. If you actually went out and met thousands of UKIP candidates, councillors, and campaigners across the country you'd realise in the vast majority of cases they're just passionate people who give their time fighting legitimate concerns millions hold, which none of the three main parties want to address. Yes you'll get the odd weird one, the odd nasty one, but that's the same across the board. I don't see myself as a better human for holding a different political view to someone, and the longer you go on trying to lump millions of honest decent people as 'scumbags', the more stupid you make yourself look. Shouldn't really rise to your bait, but there you go.
  24. Yeah that's right, you have to declare you haven't been in the BNP just to become a member.
  25. Swivel-eyed rant? I'm merely asking why is it the others do not come under the same fire from the press when their candidates muck up? And you refuse to address the points i was actually making. All you want to go on about is the f*cking BNP, when if you actually had an ounce of balanced common sense you'd be able to see that the two parties are completely apart.
