They don't have to be 'poor', just not stinking rich. But if someone goes on about 'redistributing' more wealth, why don't they just do it themselves if that's what they believe in? Amusing that he thinks profit is a filthy word but then again he doesn't live in the real world does he.

So Brand jets around the world, drives Range Rovers and Mercedes, has a net worth of 15 million and owns multi million pound properties yet he thinks he can lecture about more wealth distribution, profit and destroying the planet ? You couldn't make it up.

Ticket Details: Sunderland Away - League Cup
Orange replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
It would be a tiny fraction of the 200k to help out a few (most of which who have consistently been on long trips like this to support the club ) who have been completely shafted, sad reflection on football that I doubt anyone high up has even given a thought to it. -
Anyone else going? Not for all days at each, but will be at Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne if anyone fancies a beer. Set to be a cracking series with the Aussies no doubt out for revenge.

To become just a member of UKIP you have to declare you haven't been part of the EDL or BNP- so he wouldn't even be able to be a member let alone play any active role. He's really not far right, the real far right old National Front types in fact hate him for being a 'Zionist'.

Itchen North was buzzing today.

The BBC have always had it in for UKIP. They used to do all they could to ignore them completely and give no coverage, then when they got too big they chose the other route of ridiculing them at every moment possible.

If anyone was actually really offended by what he said then take a long hard look at yourself. Shame Bloom lost his cool when he was being harassed by the journalists and he couldn't see that rising to the bait gave them exactly what they were after. The way the BBC reported it was ridiculous, 'Bloom calls women sluts', so out of context. Scrap the license fee!

Really is a joke. It means the only young kids who can go regularly these days are ones who's parents can afford to pay for them/take them. A football club should be open to young working class kids in the city. Cost of tickets is so out of proportion to anything else. £42 quid for Liverpool, you could go to a posh restaurant and have a three course meal and some drinks for that. And when you compare it to lower wages it's ridiculous. I'm earning £6.50 an hour at the moment- so a Liverpool ticket would cost me not shy of 6 and a half hours hard graft- for 90 minutes of standing on some concrete watching football.
-
Much preferred the days of League 1 and the Champ in terms of away games. Great when you could turn up on the day and pay £10/£20 quid to get in, stand wherever you want and with who you want. Surely somethings got to give, take Liverpool at £42. Train was £40+ add on another £20/£30 for food/beer and general costs and you're looking at well over £100. Add too that the fact that pretty much every ground in the PL seems to have a dire atmosphere. Shower of sh*te.

Playing cricket, and watching Hampshire and England. And two holidays. Rest of the time working and saving as much as possible to travel Auss/NZ end of October.

I don't understand Justice for the 96 on this, I thought the whole 'Hillsborough was because of standing' was all part of the cover up they've campaigned so hard against? Without trying to cause an argument about Hillsborough, to me the bottom line was fencing?

It's worth remembering Clegg's first job was being an apprentice in the EU- of course he'd be a Europhile.

It was probably Peterborough away last season. Got a lift up and back with someone i hadn't met before on this forum, but kindly offered me a lift. On the way back near Guildford coming off the motorway either the back wheel hit the curb, or we skidded on something, but anyway we skidded out of control, spun round a few times and smashed into the side of a motorway bridge, car was a write off. All pretty shaken up we were taken to a taxi place in Guildford. Had no other option but to get a taxi back for the rest of the journey. As we started the journey the taxi driver in hindsight was clearly tired as f*ck, opening the window, driving badly etc, but as we were all a bit shaken up we thought it was just us being paranoid. Down a straight road he fell asleep, swerved into a bollard/crossing thing in the middle of the road at some speed. We got out the car didn't want to go any further with him, he was a complete nut job, making up some story he was swerving a fox. Stranded in the middle of nowhere got a lift down further south to my moped. Then had to ped it an hour home in the rain. Got home 5-6 in the morning aching like f*ck, and straight up for college an hour or 2 later...the things we do!

Gay marriage for one. It's not something I lost sleep over but a lot of older traditional Tories I know felt very let down by how and the manner in which they pushed it through. Farage is far from perfect as a person, but I think people like the fact he's actually had a job in the real world, ran his own business etc. Clegg, Milliband, Osborne etc on the other hand..

I would have if i had the chance, weren't standing where I am. But great to see 10 gains in Hampshire, UKIP's best area after Lincolnshire. I don't agree with every UKIP policy, but we should be able to determine wether we are to become part of a federal European superstate where an unelected commision decides our country's policy, or wether we want to be a free and independant nation. UKIP on immigration is also common sense, we're an overcrowded island with few jobs and a million young out of work- therefore we should have a policy such as the US, Canada, Auss,Nz etc..only UKIP stands for this and has done for years. The party also stands for smaller governement. Fact is the Tories have taken their core vote for guaranteed whilst trying to appeal to the liberal left- and it's come back to bite them in the arse. they tried to smear..as did Labour, but it didn't work! Brilliant.

Not even having the pin stripes next season, you heard it hear first.

Our support at home vocally this season has been sh*te compared to the three years prior to be honest.
