Best player for me for us and in the division. Without him we are not really the same team. That said when he came off on Saturday we played well still.

Either way its clear as crystal that we have high fitness levels. Look at the transition of Lambert under Pardew to Adkins.

3 points here would be massive. Then a draw at Hull. We need to keep the pressure on Wham and Reading.

We are yet to see the real Sharp yet. I agree with others Adkins is getting Sharp 'Saints fit'. I think like what Adkins did with Lambert he is adapting his game and improving his fitness. I think we have some special moments yet to come from Sharp. Also Lee is keeping him out of the team on merit. Isn't it lovely to have so much competition for places. Blood marvellous.

SSN says Lambert is a doubt. Bloody hope not.

Adkins is 100% the man to take us back to the PL. The brand of football we play and his modern approach to the game and Saints infrastructure combined will lead us onto much bigger things in the future be it from promotion this season or the next. Keep the faith!

Its a question of when we find our form again. I am hopeful we can hold out for top 2. Whilst there are few excuses about the Millwall game there were 7 changes to the starting team from Brum. With Jos fit, Puncheon back, Chaplow fit, Sharp to come in, Lambert back and still scoring, Lallana starting to find form again we can surely reach around the 80 point margin. I think a home win is very much needed asap making Burnley a huge game. Our away form seems to be improving as of late too. Our passing game has come back in patches against Cardiff and Brum which is another positive. We really need to get behind the team and get another run going. I mean I'll be honest whenever I see Brum or West Ham they look absolutely average but they always manage nick games. When we are playing at our best we are easily the best team in this division IMO. Easily.

Dickson has not had a fair chance really in the Championship. Fox has been poor as of late at LB and Harding has had a couple of mares too. Maybe he wants to give Le Dicke a chance at LB?

Me and my mates used to hide behind this small hill on the edge of a country road and throw eggs at cars. Can't believe we never nearly killed anyone! My brother threw one at a car with its window down with a pearl of a shot, egg exploding all over the interior. All for the buzz of getting chased and having to hide in the woods from boy racers and pikeys. Great days. What mental things did you lot do?

If we beat Burnley I feel we'll turn a new leaf. I mean lets be honest the other teams in the top 10 are hardly amazing. Given our recent form we are still in the top two. A winning streak would have us back on course. Burnely game is massive! So top two for me. If not play offs but nothing less.

Me, my dad and brother watched the Forest game via stream in LA (kicked off at 9am). Absolutely made our day that win and the Americans in the hotel lobby where the internet cafe was thought we were crazy.

For me I would go: Davis Richardson Martin Fonte Fox Puncheon Hammond Cork Lallana Lambert Sharp You’ve got to give a debut to Sharp for me. Then I would bring Chaplow for Puncheon mid-way through the 2nd half as he is still restoring match fitness and consider bringing on either Guly or Lee for one of the forwards if extra spice is needed. I also felt that putting Lallana and Puncheon in the centre was effective against Cardiff so Adkins could perhaps tinker with that in the game. Burke is a player we need to keep an eye on for them though. Class player. Also Martin will need to be on his guard against Zigic. He did well against Henderson who is also a giant!

Their average attendance is 18,000 and ours is something like 26,000. Need I say more.

Assists are not always from crosses. Granted though its not a huge weakness but an area for some improvement. Fox has a great delivery but never advances enough and Richardson gets into excellent positions but his final ball can let him down.

I think our full backs need to improve their crossing. We had loads against Cardiff that were cleared or just over hit. Low crossing isna good shout though. I think the movement of Sharp and Lee will make us more dangerous from our crossing. Lambert is dangerous at the far post too to either head it across or knock it in. Our full backs do need to improve their crossing though, especially Richardson.

I've always thought the three of them (Cork, Deano and Morgan) are maybe too similar in style which is why we sometimes get this sideways passing like we did in the first half against Cardiff. Not to mention the lack of goals from CM is pathetic really for a top 2 team (is it 4 goals between them?). If we were in the Prem I would like to see Morgan or Cork sitting deep and dictating the passing play alongside a goal scoring MF. Definitely a weakness in my eyes. Hammond would not be good enough in the Prem for me.
