This. Never forget the bad times, and just be grateful for wot we get. IF we do manage promotion eiher auto or thru playoffs, its a bonus not a god given right. Support the team wotever happens and if you really want the PL, sing your hearts out and give positive encouragement from every corner of the ground. NOTHING spurs the players on more than the whole ground being right behind them. Keep the Faith

Well went to the roar last night, dissapointing result but being a saints fan you get used to that, never mind. If the guy who tapped me on the shoulder is a member here, sorry mate didnt get the chance to chat, next time. Looking forward to the Next game and a Jim Magilton reunion.

Yep just about sums it up, were in a comfortable position, why risk our entire future just to dash up to the PL, we'll get there when were ready. I see no point in spending huge amounts (for us) failing in the PL and ending back in the NPC with players on big money we cant really afford. I for one am pretty happy with the way our club is being run, with sustainable ambition and have every faith in NC and NA to get things done, just may or may not be this year. This also brings me onto my next point. From the limited exposure we get i've quite enjoyed being in the NPC, at least were in with a shot of winning it, its very competitive but with our tremendous support a league we can continually challenge for. Once we get to the PL will we be able to say the same. Will we be like last time, a season long struggle just to stay in it with the odd cup run, spending enourmous sums of money, or will we get the backing from the Liebhers to seriously compete for at least european football. I guess only time will tell wot our future holds, with the exposure and money that is the PL it might be a worth while investment for them to ensure we become succesful, maybe not. I was a lot more confident about our future with Marcus at the helm but as ever am always optimistic. Whatever happens this season, i'll be happy and proud of our acheivements this season but only as long as we stuff the skates. Onwards and upwards. COYR
