He will not get a custodial sentence. There arent enough prison beds for this kind of crime to justify prison space. It will be community punishment of some sort and a big fine. Plus mateys looking at 8 - 10 k compo

No he wont. They favour non-custodial punishments for these offences unless he's a repeat offender or lacking any remorse. As mentioned previously a close friend was bottled recently and I remember the court proceedings and solicitor discussions very well.

I would agree, but the use of a bottle kinda removes any self defence claim, he's messed up big time. I'm intrigued as to how NA will handle this.
