  2. Weston Saint already told us this, so not a surprise
  3. Dont ruin the dream
  4. Too good to be true... surely??
  5. precisely!
  6. Did you go to the game? (no slating intended many didnt) I am referring to his reaction at the final whistle
  7. The bigger picture is we dont really know why he was sacked! But the cost (hard to justify to a business man like Cortese) and the timing suggest such reasons did exist. Add that to the confirmation that there were unhappy players and Alex OC's reaction, earns Cortese the benefit of the doubt IMO.
  8. 1 nil down at home in the first round of a competition we are the holders of, chanting the name of a Manager who was dismissed = "not good at supporting" The players responded well didnt they. Good job.
  9. Yeah, we have 2,200 good'ns, when we're winning
  10. We're not customers, we're supporters. We're just not very good at it
  11. It is not about blindly accepting decisions. Its about being realistic and in some cases, giving the benefit of the doubt. At the final whistle last night, Alex OC flicked up the ball and intentionally smacked it at the fans in the Northam, he was furious. Furious that the crowd would sing the departed Managers name. Why? Kelvin Davis has conceeded that some players werent happy with Pardew We obviously have money to spend, we've just wasted in excess of 1million buying Pardew out of his contract. So why havent we bought players with the pace that we so obviously need? We dont know, thats the reality. We havent got a f**king clue. Cortese is a clever Man, a determined and driven man who is dedicated to providing the Liebherr family with the Premier League club that Markus dreamed of. Give the guy a break and judge him on the Manager appointment NOT the rumours on Sky, we all know that the negotiations will be totally under wraps. If anything, we should be thankfull that names like Paul Hart are in the public domain, that for me confirms he hasnt been speaking to Cortese.
  12. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/7976473.stm Trading in Southampton Leisure Holding (SLH) plc's shares was suspended on Wednesday after the company admitted it needed extra money to have a future. "The finances are interlinked therefore the future of the club is in serious jeopardy," said administrator Mark Fry. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/8181386.stm Owner Liebherr added: "Nicola and I have enjoyed a long business relationship and it was Nicola who convinced me to buy the club. "He then conducted what proved to be a very difficult process expertly and professionally." Cortese more than Deserves our support and patience. So stop your f**king MOANING
  13. I cant believe the odds on this one really. 2-1 saints (fairly likely scoreline well certainly possible) with Lambert first goalscorer..... 40 / 1!
  14. Catchy
  15. I lumped a few quid on 2 - 0 with Lambert scoring first @ 52/1! I notice the odds have shortened to 42/1 today though.
  16. Its not a wind up, nobody is that persistent. He was exactly the same on 606 ........ 8 years ago!
  17. I've got a really hard week at work next week. I'm taking today off.
  18. Whats wrong with being from the Jungle?
  19. Meh, well dont see a problem with it. I always tell non locals I live in the New Forest, whats the difference.
  20. I'd hate 5000 people singing a song about how big my wang was
  21. Racist? lol
  22. To the posh spice is a slapper tune.... Guly came via Cesena But he's from the Amazon And when he sh*gs his missus The johnny's only half way on Eh ...eh... ?
  23. Arguable, but we most certainly could do with his impact from the bench. Its a squad game, you need more than 11 first team quality players. Waigo would be welcomed into any squad in this league, and many in the championship. I have faith enough in Pardews judgement though, there must have been a good reason why he was let go, and I cannot believe it was down to ability.
  24. Ahem, he said let go, not sell. We mindfully decided not to retain Waigo, no battle, we can only assume the player was happy here. We let him go, why? I have no idea. He brought something that we sorely miss.
  25. The bookies really dont fancy us and they are resting a number of their first team! I smell some money being made here....
