I can forgive the announcer, they need somebody saying something. But the music HAS to go. Maybe there is space for it with 8k fans sat eating prawn sandwiches. But not nights like last night, actually not at any game I have seen this season.

The northam where in full voice but that song was drowning them out and preventing the rest of the stadium joining in and creating a real atmosphere. Maybe it was done to make the plastic dons feel at home? Whatever the reason it has to stop.

What is everyone elses thought on the ridiculous amount of music they play? Personally it annoys the hell out of me. Dont mind a bit of 'the saints are coming' as they enter the field, but the rest... no, cut it out.

Why does every bloody shirt suggestion have to have a f'ing collar? Whats wrong with a round neck? Oh - and i think the sash looks better than the stripes anyway. I personally would be happy to ditch the stripes for good.

As far as I was concerned he was training with a nameless "Premiership Club". It was a pretty pitiful letter, all of their centres have been closed. They really are flat broke, renting fleming park for an hour a week cant be that expensive surely! I hope Saints kids scouting has picked up again, because it has been pretty non-existent.

My son was scouted by Pompey last season he was 6. Been training with them weekly for several months, until they closed the development centre. He didnt/doesnt think "im going to be a professional footballer" he's a kid, he likes playing footy with his mates, and anyway, you'd be amazed at what they can teach kids of that age. Nothing wrong with it.

Pompey have closed down their development centres (academy for the under 9's) now too, got a letter yesterday. F**ked off really, my nippers been training with them for months.
