He is very well rated by the club, just look at the contract he signed? He's a different level to McGoldrick and Best, he's better. Maybe not world class, but certainly a potential 15-20 Prem goals a season man.

Sam's had an op on his leg recently, and won't be back until after Christmas. For those of you who said he should go out on loan both Bournemouth and Celtic were interested in taking him on loan, but he wanted to stay at Saints and fight for a first team space. as "NickG" said JRod was playing at Stirling, whilst Sam's was courted by Celtic.

I think if we had attained the services of Alderwield and co first and then lost Lallana etc, then it would have been a very different story but in the current situation we are in we are as strong as we were this time last year.

Good goals, unlucky it was only 2. Did find myself getting quite angry at Big Graz tho, was nothing short of rubbish for most part, but I'm sure that goal will really help him and (eventually) he'll come good. Happy for Corky to get his first goal, shame it came in a Capital One Cup second round game at Millwall on a Tuesday night, but they all count I guess. COYR

Wouldn't get much game time? A lot better than Yoshi? difficult to say on Gardos, but this is a very talented footballer, played every minute for Belgium in the WC, chips in with the odd goal as well?
