  1. I honestly thinks people forget that Everton was quite good under Moyes and exaggerate Martinez job a bit. Last year after 27 games they had 42 points in 6th position and 7 points off 4th. This year they have 45 points (granted) but is in 7th position and 11 points off 4th. Yes one less game, but not THAT much better as people all over seems to think. http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2012-2013/table/2013-02-25
  2. Why are the demands and expectations so different there? It´s only lovely to nurture and educate young players if you keep them to win something.... But if you bring in ready players from abroad all you have to do is to stay in the league?
  3. I´ll give some noticable posts on this thread an F for imagination/creativity, but an A+ for persistence.....
  4. Fixed it for you.
  5. Agree with that, he used to protect the ball so well too but seems to lose it quite easily more often now...
  6. In those terms I like Lasogga a lot, big strong guy and a clear threat in the air. (from those mentioned before) Not sure I personally think that´s what I want the most though. I would really like someone with a lot of movement and working off defenders shoulders to stress defenders and force them to always look over their shoulders. At the moment the opponents defense can work pretty stationary without having that threat against them. I also mostly look at players under 24 (with some exceptions on that list) so if we´re ready to look at some older players the list would be bigger or at least with a few other names. And some names there isn´t really strikers but attacking mf/forwards. If I´ll pick the one I would want the most it´s probably Memphis Depay..
  7. Yes, haven´t you heard of the new policy? 45+ is what we´re going for now, experience is vital
  8. Drmic Lasogga Berardi Gabbiadini Aboubakar Djordjevic Promes Depay But can settle with Ibrahimovic..

    Plan B

    Plan B you say?
  10. Play Gaston-Morgan-Vic in CM/CAM position. Vic sitting and protecting defensively, Morgan and Gaston interchanging but I would like to see Gaston a bit deeper against teams that parks the bus. We need someone in Cm that look for that forward pass instead of just pinging it around sideways. It will also open up space at AM position for Adam if he and Gaston doesn´t work the same spaces. Gaston sitting deep and playing similar to a quarterback would be interesting to see, he can pick up passes and spaces forward better than anyone else in the squad and always moves himself into open positions so he can help Vic out and let him play 5-10 yrd passes instead of the longer ones.
  11. Watching the replay of their first goal it´s unbelievable that the lino doesn´t raise his flag. He´s a yard to far forward so from that angle the player should even look more offside than he is...
  12. 110_Persaint...(or 110% persistent idiot if you like)
  13. I think he meant he was sorry for Gaston that his teammates wasn´t at their best when Gaston looked very lively..
  14. West Ham did what Stoke did. They put their big striker 10 yards shorter than normal on the pitch to have him using his size advantage against our relatively small midfield. That´s where Wanyama comes into the picture to prevent that...
  15. I think you might want to read your post #105 again then. Wasn´t me that started comparing MP and Aguirre and yet again you fell into the same old belittleing of our own manager by calling him "the great mopo". Why do you feel such a compulsive need to do that all the time? Here´s a suggestion. For your next profile if you have trouble finding out a good nickname, you should use Baron von Münchhausen.
  16. So with basically two players (which both been out for quite long periods) the manager has raised us from 14th to 8th with a height as high as 3rd as long as we didn´t have injuries. Seems like someone makes some outstanding work at the training ground... 12-14 good players....Ok same old exaggerating......Verdu, Wakaso and perhaps Amat could be called good players out of that list... http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/rcd-espanyol/transfers/verein_714.html
  17. Since you often suggests that Pochettino inherited a great squad and much of the success is due to Adkins work.....wouldn´t that suggest the same for Aguirres success?
  18. Our form isn´t that shabby. Not great, not bad. I think people would say (including me) that West Ham is in very good form but looking at it like you that would give something like 6 wins in 18 games...
  19. To be clear so all know? How do you count? A loss in the cup is amongst those numbers you give but not cup wins, or how is it?
  20. Yes cause when people makes estimates they take it all in regard. Players, style of play, the manager....
  21. All it took for that wall was a japanese kamikaze
  22. This working for you at the moment? Not for me, cant find and iLive options...
  23. Dont think I´ve ever said something about having opinions on everything (but perhaps you were talking in general terms). Yes it´s easier to judge atmosphere in place at the stadium but I was talking about atmosphere generally for cup games (not only Saints games as I also said) and all reports has said that it has been quite poor at most places and that´s also my impression of it from looking at the games on tv.
