No I´m just saying that the one that claim things should be the one that proofs it, not the other way around.
-
Dont think I can mention one team that has played the same starting XI in 3 straight games in WC. Can you?
-
Not the way it should work, is it though?
-
yeah yeah sure sure, of course that emplyee would say things like that on an open forum like facebook.... You used to have better imagination, what has happened?
-
Do we think the club should make their plans and decisions out of what the fans wishes.....like down the road? I dont buy all this "we didn´t play our strongest team". We know very little of the physical status of the players and I certainly will never understand this "if you´re on the bench you should be fit to start". A player that is 80-90% fit might be a better option than a player that isn´t as good but you dont want to risk that player unless you absolutely have to and that MIGHT be the case of Fonte, neither of us really know. The only selection today that I might not understand is why JRod didn´t play, but on the other hand he is probably the player that runs the most in games and have played virtually 90 mins for most games this season so he might be in a position to get a bit of resting because of that.
-
And losing at the moment AT HOME against the 9th in the Championship.....so what guarantees do you have of wining just because you play your first XI? You´re drowning mate...
-
And that´s when you need the captain to step up and fire up his teammates and neither did. (saying neither cause we had both team and club captain in the line up)
-
I´ve said that the performance was sh*te, but can see logical reasons to selections made. My question mark would perhaps be JRod but other than that I understand why the team was set up as it was.
-
Ok. And they play the SAME starting XI EVERY game?
-
You might wanna read my fist post when I said 3 games in 8 days. But it makes all the difference of course, people on this board cant think for themself, I should have known that but hey I´m the thicko...
-
Ok, 3 games in 8 days. It´s such a big difference....or should we say 7 days and 20 hrs because the game last saturday finished 5 pm and today was a 12.45 kickoff?
-
Three? No but there´s a logical reason why some switches were made imo.
-
Which position is the most physical demanding in a team? Which team played it´s 3rd game in 8 days?
-
Yes the performance was utter sh*te but blaim the players for that. We still had 7/11 of what would be a quite normal starting XI, Sunderland had 2 or 3.
-
Definitely managers fault that Lambert misses that one.....not the players...
-
Why do a thread about substitutions get bumped BEFORE a game? Surely substitutions are made during games, starting XI is picked players, not substituted ones.
-
Never any point to risk any sort of game with Jos in the team
-
You think we would have no chance what so ever turning that game around if that had happened? Of course we can discuss this back and forth but I think his post on this was more "what if we had had more luck going our way" and the fact that the games he put up on the list were games where we in most cases were the better team.
-
Actually, imo the type of manager that might help them stay up. Looked uninspiring under Meulensteen and Magath wont let any player rest at least. Could be sort of a Di Canio effect that it´s good short term in this situation, but might not be as good long term...
-
Put this one to the list Gemmel. Man Uniteds goal was offside
-
Gallagher playing U21 game tonight... Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC 5 min #SaintsFCU21s team vs #WHUFC U21s: Johns, McCarthy, Stephens ©, Turnbull, Targett, Gape, Flannigan, Isgrove, Sinclair, Rowe, Gallagher.
-
2 games in a week.....or 3 games in 8 days to be more accurate and on this level that is a tough task if you want to use the same starting XI.
-
Weakened because we rest 1 CB against team from lower division?
-
Dont know about those things. Just commented that I dont really understand when people believe there´s a connection between assistant manager doing interviews = club doesn´t take the game seriously....
-
How do you draw that conclusion? Did Ferguson not take Man United losts seriously, cause he often sent his assistant out to do interviews, you think?
