EXCLUSIVE: Manchester United plan to sign Adam Lallana
Olallana replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Dont see where I said that, can you guide me? Just saying that I dont think it´s such a clear case that he would jump on the first chance if they came in with an offer. Some players are smart enough to know what role they want to play and I´m not sure that City would promise him that. -

Maybe he values his footballing career more than those two and dont wanna go down the same path? Could also add Adam Johnson to that... -
So is it a form guide or a result guide....? Seems like it changes whatever suits your needs the best.....and first using 5 games guide cause it suited you the best and now all the sudden the 6 games guide is chosen.... You still wonder why people think you´re on an agenda??

Carlos Vela linked to southampton for 20 million

Nobody in the right mind would pay close to £20m for Vela. At most £10-12m worth imo. -
Yes every team has injuries, but at no stage last year had we 4-5 regular starters missing in consecutive games and at a time when you have a schedule with Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle away and Man City and Spurs at home. And yes Arsenal was a game when we didn´t have that many missing but the other games are pretty much influenced of injuries. The strangest thing on this forum though is that the same people that claims that we are nowhere close to Spurs, Everton and the likes (and I dont think so either yet over the course of a season) are the ones that are complaining the most when we lose against Spurs, Chelsea etc with so many players out. What where they expecting if we, as they say, are nowhere close to those clubs??
-
And how many of those would be regular starters if they had no injuries? 1, Baines. Rest of them are pretty much squad players, Gibson would start last year but not this year with Barry/McCarthy. Jelavic on the way out, Deulofeu has started one or two games so far, Kone would never be picked before Lukaku. All good players but not from their first choice XI.
-
I´m extremely relaxed. Ok so what you think is what we should consider and not the actual results, good to know when reading your posts here. And missing 5 reguar starting players is always worse than being new to a league imo. Anyone looking at our "form" would see that we have had one really poor result (Villa) and one poor performance and result (Spurs) in our last 6 games. Granted also one bad half (Chelsea) when the team got disjointed by injuries. Other than that our form (not results) has been pretty decent.
-
So played last five (or more games) from the start and expected back to next game......oh the injury crisis on those two!!
-
That he lies or let´s say "not completely truthful"....as it wouldn´t be our worst run of form for 4 years as he claimed...
-
Once again spouting out lies on the forum, why?? Distin and Pienaar both started last game. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25387089 And the game before that. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25275762 And the game before that. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25173164 And the game before that. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25115886 And the game before that. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25063878 Ok, I´ll stop there. //Lie detector.
-
Tell us again. What was our results for 10 first games last year??
-
So people are responding to things happening in the future since Fa cup hasn´t been played yet and nobody knows what team we put out there? I´m impressed, do those people perhaps know the lottery numbers for next week too?
-
Ok. ONE single person has said it, and some how that turns into the "forum truth"....?
-
Yes, but the point is also that FA Cup is played weekends instead of league games. League cup (that´s been discussed on this forum lately) is extra midweek games and a different setup.
-
So if we finish 8th then most teams are BETTER than us...?? And talking about lineups we can do in january when the fa cup is played perhaps since it´s not the same competition that has been discussed? Not one single person on this fourm has said that we would be relegated if we played our strongest team in the league cup. What has been said is that it is obvious (and for very good reasons) that the league cup is not a priority for the club. Does that mean we go out and lose on purpose, of course not. But the club has decided that first priority is PL and I for one support that 100%.
-
As I said, most teams. No billions in Man C, a very weak Spurs, Chelsea just beginning to gain pace. And if we finish 8th, than truely the fact must be that most teams were equally bad or worse since the league is more than 15 teams...?
-
Because most teams in the league back then were equally bad or worse and we had perhaps the easiest draws ever in the cup that year?
-
No I´m just listening to official sources and make my own simple conclusions.....no rocket science really.
-
Well the facts are that neither of Clyne, Fonte or Shaw is 100% fit and therefore they weren´t playing. Fonte probably on the bench since we lack other options and a semi-fit Fonte could cover if more injuries would´ve happened during the game, but nothing anyone really wanted to due to his injury.
-
I´m amazed how many ITK´s there are here that knows the exact fitness status on our players. Cortese really has to look at this leakage out of Staplewood.... Oh....wait.....agenda. Sorry, my bad.
-
Mid january last year we had 22 points.....how many do we have now already?
-
I´m confused that he doesn´t seem to be able to throw his body to the side on the ground, when he tries to save on the ground at any side it´s like he´s falling to a side with his legs under him rather than trying to push off and throw his body down.... (sorry for bad english)
