Apparently a hairline fracture on VW. But I do agree we looked a bit tired perhaps but Villa were never gonna let us press since they only played it long (and didn´t have any possession of the ball to speak of). We also lacked a bit of urgency the last 15-20 against Chelsea imo so I can agree. Yeah I want to see Gaston and Osvaldo together before giving up on him. He´s still a great player even if he might not suit our style but I´d like to see him get some chances at least.... I think we need a proper no.10 behind Osvaldo to get the best out of him, if that´s Gaston or not is another question though.

Isn´t Morgan pretty much the only one with a muscular injury, at least if you look at the first XI?? VW bone injury, Boruc bone injury, Clyne groin...

But how is it that other teams that dont use our system pick up injuries also then?

Game schedule has no influence? We have had one bad result despite an actually v. good performance.

Just wondering, if they were rotated into the team in games previous than wednesday they would not make any mistakes in those games and also not on wednesday? We rotated this wednesday, admittedly by force, and imo that showed why we wont rotate unless we have to.

You think we would´ve beaten Chelsea 1,5 week from now with the status of our squad at the moment?

And might have an extra midweek game coming up in 1,5 week against Chelsea.....wouldn´t do much good for the squad at the moment.... Plenty of games in december already without those league cup games.

Can´t see us use players for this game if it´s their first game coming back from injury.

I think Yoshida has to be more aware of the striker just behind him also, not a big mistake but could have defended it better.
