I´ll bet we draw Arsenal tomorrow and have to play them twice in four days. Those kind of draws happens surprisingly often when teams are due to play in the league...

Say what? http://backpagefootball.com/artur-boruc-the-best-goalkeeper-in-the-premier-league/68204/ -
It´s rather easy. Different teams and players are judged and treated differently, which means that referees aren´t doing their jobs good enough. Some may say it´s always been like that and always will be, but that´s plain wrong and needed to put a light on. Why accept something that is wrong just because it´s always been?

If any CB would be going out I think it´s Yoshida. Wants game time before WC.

Was training with the rest of the squad in the gym in a preview-video for the Chelsea game on Saints player..

Strange that FA go easy on the instigators, especially when their staff is involved and attacking opponents player/staff for the second time in a year. Oh well, strange and FA is probably just the same usual btw.

Yes Rickie said something about that being the minimum aim, but I dont connect that to being a minimum demand for Pochettino to keep the job.

You got a special line to his office phone then?

So 9th and losing to Man City away in a QF in the cup wouldn´t be good enough?

Yeah you must be who cant see that Liverpool has a higher market value in their squad, ergo better players, ergo bigger chance reaching CL. That´s also why it´s stupid for people saying that we have "outspent" Liverpool, which is only truth if you look at a very short space of time. (maybe the examples on the thread were Newcastle and Everton but the point is the same)
-
How much a club has spent in 1,5 year is almost irrelevant since all clubs start from different positions so comparing those outlays to Liverpool and the likes is just plain stupid... To rebuild a championship squad takes time, most people understand that while idiots don´t. If anything should be looked at it´s squad value (though that is very estimated numbers but that´s the same for all teams then). If you keep building a squad that has a higher market value for every year that usually means better players which usually ends up in better results. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/premier-league/startseite/wettbewerb_GB1.html Hull are the great over-achievers and Sunderland the under-achievers this year.

Yes he should go and manage lower league teams (like Roberto Martinez who is rated at the top by most people these days) to boost his win percent....
-
Btw Barry, why is a Saints win over Sunderland one of the worst results you can remember......anything you want to reveal now?? http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/worst-sunderland-games-you-experienced.847098/page-6#post-16476373

Yeah I agree completely. I´d rather see people at the club go out and aim for mid-table at the best. I really miss those Telfer and McCann days.

Yeah those bookies get everything right, dont they! I mean Ever Banega was a 5/8 to sign with us....
