CORTESE - a personal and factual view of why Ms Liebherr was right.

IF, and I say if, Liebherr´s now looking to sell, and IF (again big if) Cortese is involved with potential new owners he had to leave. He can not remain as CEO and broker the selling of the company/club and be involved with a potential buyer. -
Sure it isn´t easy but still my opinion on it. Dont even know if it´s possible to take money out of the club that easily though by just selling a player and then withdraw it from an account.....laws and all that..
-
Selling players and taking money out would lower the all over value of the club and if they´re in for the money the big value is in the complete package, dont you think?
-
Would pobably be wiser to put the club out for sale if they want their investments back at this point.
-
Would rather it to be Liebherr´s leaving and Cortese finding new owners to push the club even more forward... Time will tell.
-
You dont think he and his dad would´ve known his value when we made the step up to PL?
-
According to papers at least £45k/week from summer 2012. (same time as when we signed Gaston)
-
Is that calculation before or after a possible insurance has payed the wages during his injury time?
-
So to compare it correctly and fair. How much money do we save on not paying wages to Alex then? That got to be in there for compareness in the right and fair way I would presume..

The FFP is a big hurdle IMO and not a very fair rule as it is. Saying that if we might add 3 players every year of the same or better quality as this season we might have an opportunity. But it will take at least another two year cause we have the "problem" of quick success meaning we have players on contract that are far from top PL class and they have wages so high due to bonuses from promotions that other teams wont come in for them unless they take a paycut and many players aren´t prepared to do that and those we need to offload is 27 or older so cant really blaim them I guess. We need to finish close to top 6 to also keep our own best players so they see the progress of the club and that it will be achievable, otherwise I think some of the best players will leave and while we might make a profit and buy new players it´s better to always keep the core of a team together for several years.

One on the verge of being in the first XI in one of the best countries in the world and ranked top ten prospects in European football when bought, the other sold while he was in 3rd tier and as best on the bench in a semidecent national team. Yeah, sounds like a fantastic deal to me.

Would you say Lovren is a bad passer? (they have the same pass completion percent and only 0.7% behind Lallana btw)
-
Agree. I even think Victors protection of the back four would make Hoovield/Yoshida quite decent when we have to play any of them...
-
(but not for trousers to answer to though )

Would´ve been interesting to see other teams forced to play their 3rd choice keeper in 5 straight games.. Man C = Richard Wright Chelsea = Hilario Arsenal = Viviano Liverpool = Ward (20yrs old) Everton = Springthorpe (20yrs old) Tottenham = Gomes/Archer Safe to say that no teams can really afford to have the first two choices out for too many games...
-
Sorry to hear. Youtube has a few but a bit shorter ones. Found one decent that was 45 sec.
-
Oh, a Saints fan won that...cool. You know who??
-
Yes those 2 evens out everything... All the wrestling John O´Shea was allowed to do. The blatant handball against Norwich. (And dont say anything about Norwichs penalty in the last seconds cause if the first one is given that never happens cause it only happened because we were desperately chasing in the final minutes) The offside for Man Uniteds goal. The handball (not 'handball', just simply handball) at Everton. And that´s just a few of those we can discuss.... Btw, which player fouled which yesterday in the run up for our goal? Something 5 minutes before the actual goal?
-
Wow, that Crouch goal was Stokes first headed goal this season.... http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/premier-league/torverteilung/wettbewerb_GB1.html
-
Skrtel pulling down opponents when defending corners and not penalised......that´s a new....
-
IMO he gaines an advantage by moving out of the balls way. And thats why players in offside position cant let the ball go through their legs to an onside teammate and claim they didn´t play it. But it is a matter of opinions, agree about that. And the big problem is the rules that allows individual interpretations of it...
-
So you dont think its an advantage that the ball ends up in net because of his movement? I think so honestly.

Searching for this Benega guy on transfermakt.co.uk.... Well...let United have any of them...
