I think the crest was designed about forty years ago when the Club asked fans to enter a competition to design the new crest. It needs updating.

Who is this Jackanory? Bit of a story teller. Are you tucked in bed yet? Me, Saints supporter well before you were born nipper. Worked on recent Saints publication 'Suited and Booted' by Duncan Holley. A history of pre war Saints, guess you never bought one. Its in the Saints Shop and all local Waterstones. Duncan has been working on a massive project called 'All the Saints' a history of every player that ever played for Saints. I have spoken to Duncan and also David Bull, on this future publication which is out soon. David, Saints historian, has a regular write up in the Saints programme every match. So grow up and don't accuse me of not what I am not.
