  2. Comment from the article:
  3. Oh, and if Portpin really have agreed to all the FL conditions, it's good news for the children of Portsmouth - they will get their presents this Christmas after all. Parents will be breathing sighs of relief at not having to make good on their "pledges" to the Trust.
  4. Given that every single penny of parachute payments (and more) will be needed in the football creditors are to be paid, it's easy for Chinny to say that they won't be taken out of the club but will be used to fund the business. And I agree with DP above - looks like Chinny is agreeing to the FL demands that only a portion of his secured debt is transferred following his purchase. Instead, he's just going to let them rack up a whole new bunch of debt to him in the form of this "overdraft". Nice move, Mr Chinny. I am secured, I will get my money back.
  5. It's AND Neil, not OR.
  6. Oh, OK, the Trust bid is fair. Let's go with that then, bugger any other considerations. Paedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact — there's no real evidence for it — but it is scientific fact.
  7. It seems the few might be regretting the marches, the demos and the abuse that they threw in the direction of the FL after they weren't given the level of "protection" they felt they deserved. Well, now they're getting it but don't seem to like it too much. Whoops.
  8. Nah, the last time we got gubbed there was worse. Jermaine Pennant scored 3, ffs.
  9. You found out that someone was actually a dress?
  10. Bad news for the Trust. Repairs and maintenance for the period 02/12 - 08/12 was £80,771. A little more than the £30k they've budgeted for.
  11. £449k of legal fees incurred by PFK to date as well
  12. Well, we all knew that, but when writing it in the "newspaper", old Rory McKeown might as well have said
  13. So Baker Tilley offered Birch £4.9m if he agreed to advance them £119k to use to chase it? While that sounds like some sort of Nigerian scam, if I were a creditor I'd be expecting an explanation of why Birch didn't bother to pursue that £4.9m and has now lost the right to ever obtain it. Althought, to be fair, I expect the explanation would be "MD2004 don't have 4.9 pence, let alone £4.9m"
  14. Including you, Neil?
  15. He's far from the only person within the game to have said the same thing though. I think people from both Oldham and Crawley have made similar statements recently so we have to believe there's more than a grain of truth to it. Besides, why would players turn down secured, long term deals with other clubs and sign the short term deals at Pompey otherwise? All we read abut this summer is that clubs are cutting their cloth and that players are finding it difficult to find security (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19405554) so there has to be a damn good reason why the likes of McCleod have waiting all summer to sign at Pompey. If it looks like a fish and smells like a fish, it's probably a fish.
  16. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/appy-hoping-for-ownership-resolution-at-last-1-4253692 Does Appy speak to at least 1 "journalist" from the News every single day? Does the guy not have anything better to do? I mean, really?
  17. Middle East group yet to provide funds proof for Pompey takeover Well I, for one, am amazed at this news. Mark Mudie also believes in Father Christmas, the tooth fairy and that Pompey fans are the bestest in the world. Oh. My. God
  18. Right, that's it. I'm calling my lawyers. Once I've finished work here in Titchfield. doh!
  19. Ken Tone - mention my name again and I will sue you.
  20. By the way, POL Scumfinder General Frattoniser still hasn't managed to hunt me down and ban me yet. Maybe he's not so certain, after all...
  21. Or maybe as "fine" as Snoras Bank, who were definitely not dodgy because because they'd been nominated as "Best Regional Bank" by The Banker magazine, eh CorpHo?
  22. I think the money spent on Ramirez was totally wasted. He signed 11 days ago and he's none absolutely nothing on the pitch for us yet that suggests he's any good at all.
