Promising thing about this one is that I haven't heard any other clubs linked. Can't see why he would have had extended leave, he didn't play international games did he?

Erm...the opposite I think, pretty sure he dislikes us.

I think everyone is in agreement that we need to make signings that are improvements on the players we have, not just backup players to bloat the squad. People are moaning that we are going for unrealistic transfers, but which group of players should we be aiming for that would truly improve us, but wouldn't interest the big clubs? Sounds like a pretty small market to me, if it exists at all.

Just listen to yourselves, clamouring for us to throw money at agents to get our own way. It's the thin end of the wedge, I'm glad the club is exercising financial prudence. Next people will be wanting to pay enormous wages to attract bigger names. Any mug can put together a squad of over paid mercenaries, I'd rather we built the squad on our terms, read "The Parable of the Blue Few" if in any doubts.

The matches in the south of Spain cheap, seen flights from Bournemouth and Bristol for well under £100. Celta Vigo more expensive. The matches in Austria look extremely pricey to get to, with a fairly long drive to boot. That's my summary.

Could fly to Santiago, but again not cheap. Although the opposition is crap, the game against Palamós CF has flights for under £100 return from Bournemouth and you get to spend a couple of days on the beach.
