Last season everyone considered us relegation fodder, this year the big teams are taking us seriously. It's as simple as that I think.

Obviously I don't know where it's going to be, but I've got a strong feeling that we will be given a great deal more notice than we have been in recent years, hence a better chance to be able to travel.

I think you are missing the point slightly, I was just attempting to show that Baz changes his opinions to suit whatever moan he is having at the time. Schurrle is 23 years old and has made 30 appearances for Germany scoring 10 goals in the process. Mourinho obviously thinks he has enough about him that he has played a part in most of Chelsea's games this season who are in with a shout of winning the league. He's definitely above average.

This, I don't have a clue why we had so many players who were clearly never going to play for us again mooching about the place. It wasn't good for them and I struggle to see how it was good for us.

I'll bite, he hasn't played for ages anyway and did little when he did, although you could obviously see the quality. Other than winning us 1 point against City his contribution hasn't been staggering, so no I don't think we a significantly weaker.

Probably couldn't have chosen anyone worse to do this to, such a central figure in the squad with strong friendships, like Simon Peach said it's very hard to see how he can play for us again.
