  1. So in the latest version of the app, algorithm's have decided I'm interested in Adam Lallana, so I've got his face and several articles smugly reporting on the Liverpool game, in my face every time I open it. Which extends my ****ed offness about that game, just when I though I was getting over it. Anyone else have this? Is there any way I can get rid? Grrrr.
  2. I'll be so gutted to lose Clyne. I think he's my favourite player to watch. I love it when he gets a cross in from nothing after beating a player for speed, or a little nippy trick to confuse the defender. Or when he's running back to defend against a pacey winger and beats them with a perfectly timed tackle.
  3. Thanks Ulrich, might do that. Though am a bit sick of walk of shame out of the pub after we lose.
  4. Koeman?
  5. It's more a case of fixing it when guys make a hash of it. As they always do, because they often don't have a clue, but feel the need to be the boss man and insist on taking control.
  6. LOL! Batman is such a feisty one! Love the determination, and no quitter attitude! You can just tell he'd never accept second best! His upbeat personality is so infectious!
  7. [quote=whelk;2143766 Habitual tardiness is passive aggressive behaviour which shows a lack of respect for others. RK dealt with it. I agree with all you say, Whelk, except this point. I want to make a defence of late people. (Ie. me) as we're often misunderstood, and people do get very upset about it (and assume things like passive aggression) when it's often completely unintentional. If scientists were to study my brain, I'm sure they'd figure out something going on not as expected! But a lot of it is down to underestimating how long things take. I have zero instinct for time. And also procrastinating/or getting too into the task you're currently doing. Being late is far more stressful for the person who is late. But it's so hard to change. A kick up the backside helps. Luckily I'm in a job where it doesn't overly matter if I turn up 20 mins late. For Mane's job it's more important.

Aren't you a positive soul? Hope you're not his coach! We'll have to agree to disagree on that. But as I said earlier, I suspect our criteria for 'world class' is different.
  9. Yeah, you should definitely have taken a slower approach with that! Her ears might just have been sore, but it might have been a sexy little move. I think with most of these things, always trust your first instinct. If you suspect something is on, it probably is!
  10. Darn! Done it again - just can't help myself! Will never become a TMS Perfect Women at this rate. Need to work on the Laura Ashley, cutesy, needy, non threatening skills. And stop looking hot, watching football, and buying rounds of drink! ...wait...hang on... you sure?!
  11. How do you know? Have you had many boyfriends?
  12. Just working on perfecting my women skills as defined by posters on TMS. I'm not sure if this is a good thing to do or not.
  13. I am SO digging my new partner in crime...
  14. Sorry Bearsy, never get the calorie counting nonsense! I do quite like shoes though. I've got about 20 pairs, of which most are gorgeous heels, and at least 5 of them of only worn on one occasion. Does that help? But I HATE shopping. And I'm the best map reader I've ever met. Better than any boy.
  15. GB, I thought I was supposed to be in nuns outfit? Make up your mind!
  16. Hi Halo, Sorry slow to respond. Hectic day at work. Easy answer: accidental look is acceptable. Stare is weird. Anything over a split second = a stare. Not sure I'd call either flattering though. What's with guys that spread their legs wide open when you're in a one on one meeting with them? I've had a couple of colleagues do that recently - it was hard to know where to look! Close your legs boys - you'd be pretty freaked out if I did that to you!
  17. Are we all irritable with each other because we're still so d*mn annoyed about Sunday? I know I am!

Blimey Noodles, we could keep this going all week. I said potential! P-O-T-E-N-T-I-A-L (hope I've spelt that right!) I agree at the moment there's no way he's world class. Bloody well would have beaten the keeper on Sunday if he was. But potential was and still is there. And according to Wikipedia, and Ronald Koeman, he did play in the World Cup Final. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eljero_Elia I know this because Koeman referenced his shock about what had happened to him since the final, when we first signed him.
  19. New question for our male experts: Being asked out by a woman Vs You doing the asking out. Preference?
  20. Well I never do that. I fact, I hate talking on the phone. Explain that.

To me, Suarez, Ronaldo and co are best in the world. World class = players who can compete at a top world level. I suspect we all have slightly different definitions of world class, hence the disagreement on whether Mane, Elia and Djuricic have that potential or not.
  22. What about boyfriends who want to text you at every frigging hour of the day? Believe me, it's not just a women thing. It's a needy thing, which applies to men and women alike.

I didn't. I said potential to be. Given he's been there before, means he can be again.
  24. I agree, although Forster always seems a serious/sensible chap, so I doubt there's a perceived issue with him that would need coming down heavy if he did happen to be late on one occasion.

Given Elia previously played in a World Cup Final, he's not far off...
