  1. Great commitment. Crap execution.
  2. Honestly don't agree with that. He may not be the finished article but all he needs is a Jose Toby or Virgil alongside him to grow....not Janny B, bless him.
  3. Or they offered a short term or rolling contract like previously
  4. Skateboarding is for weekdays, coffee and kombucha binges are for weekends.
  5. After Lucy's fish?
  6. Yup, balance of probability would suggest that he would go. But back to the original thought that there might be a tinge if regret in "losing" a year of progression or recognition if we do have a complete bollix of a season. Who knows?
  7. An appeal would be senseless. They VAR-checked it at the time and they'll back up the ref for dangerous play. But I guess then he misses 3 PL matches?
  8. Maybe on loan, maybe not if no-one stumps up the readies for a loan fee or transfer.
  9. And playing in the championship next season...not a chance
  10. Sure. But it's not doing his England call up chances any favours.
  11. Bet he wishes he hadn't been persuaded to sign for us now.
  12. Yes ditto. It wasn't possession football lost us the game it was poor defending when we had every one behind the ball virtually. We need to be far smarter in defence as a team and block or tackle as if their lives depend on it. Poor idea to get Archer to take the penalty too. And he can't play with his back to goal. Ross in for me next time.
  13. We're at home to them though next up. But we'll still get beat. And the following week by Ipswich. Not having any confidence we'll win a game at present.
  14. Don't call him Shirley
  15. The centre forward is 2 weeks away.....
  16. At least we have someone who can keep the ball out of that glaring hole at our end of the pitch! That's more than we've had for f'kin' years.
  17. So the U formation is where we are at this season
  18. Surely it can't get any worse than it already is with NO goals?
  19. Not really. It has a larger glam centre than many euro cities. Go beyond that central district/city centre and they're all the same. Some nice suburbs but plenty of sink estates.
  20. True but no real border and technically same country
  21. London, Edinburgh maybe
  22. Not unless they are voluntary
  23. Another Tall Paul decision
  24. Don't get me wrong...signing promising junior players before their price becomes crazy is all good for the future. But unless we bring in a senior striker on loan (wages) or at the max FFP allows us this year, that future will definitely be the Championship for years to come.
