"Super League clubs are set to be ordered to forfeit matches, with their opponent given a 48-0 victory, if they are unable to fulfil a fixture because of a Covid outbreak" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/59884125

Bit harsh, just stop the Civil List, remove all privilege, and make them pay their way. The big issue is what to replace them with; elected Presidencies generate their own form of corruption, patronage, and croneyism. Which would you prefer, King Charles III or our own version of Donald Trump ?

Not just his argument !

He used it in a reply to me, ( or is that I replied to myself ? )

Surely Dragan's personal wealth is irrelevant, it is what FFP permits as external investment that matters.

The tournament regulations say that players and staff must be vaccinated or produce a valid medical certificate of exemption. If he has no such certificate, he should not be allowed to play. Djokovic is a known anti-vaxxer, and his wife promotes the various conspiracy theories that claim to link 5G to the spread of Covid. 13) people have been so severely affected by the social impact of the pandemic that in order to satisfy their psycological need for companionship and belonging, they create additional accounts then spend their time quoting and "liking" what are in reality their own posts.

Let alone teams having German, Italian, and especially Japanese players.

Something else we have learned, or at least had confirmed, during the pandemic; 1) People are more willing to believe totally fabricated nonsense from an anonymous source on social media than any number of people who specialise in a particular field of science giving them verified and reliable information. 2) Matt Le Tissier's brain is in his right foot, his head is only there to enable him to swivel his eyes to spot a pass.

Hopefully returning to training soon; https://www.si.com/soccer/manchestercity/news/man-city-missing-star-forward-with-ankle-and-hip-problems-striker-sidelined-ahead-of-everton-clash "It was reported in early October that the English striker had ‘suffered a setback’ in his bid to return to full fitness, and that the Manchester City staff were hopeful of Delap returning to action prior to Christmas. According to the latest information of Jack Gaughan of The Daily Mail, Delap remains sidelined with ankle/injury problems, and it remains to be seen whether the forward will return to action before the New Year."

One interesting comment from the Judge presiding over the dispute today; "Judge Kaplan said that the wording could mean that both Epstein and Ms Giuffre had to jointly agree to whether or not the settlement could be used to release other potential defendants from facing court. " He can't, and she won't.

Such an opinion was a strong motivating factor in the creation of this thread.

It depends on their next three matches, currently slated as Watford (h), Leeds (a), and Everton (h), which will be played before significant reinforcements can be bedded in. ( It's a shame about the postponements ). If they get less than 4 points from those three then the equation gets harder, but I think that 35 points will keep teams up this season. By the end of January it is highly likely that the relegation fight will be down to 3 from 4.

As I said, plenty of lawyers currently arguing over it, so let's wait and see what the Judge says tomorrow.

Plenty of lawyers arguing to and fro over it at the moment. Is the 'agreement' viable in Federal or other State jusrisdictions, or is it limited to Florida ? Does it have value if alleged offences took place outside of US territory, as is claimed ?

Doesn't mean he didn't do it.
