We haven't left, and may well still not do so. In the meantime, the Casino Capitalists will always find ways to make money out of any situation.

And 10 years ago it was below 5000, this graph provides nothing to any argument regarding the Brexit vote.
-
I'm sanguine about being a "traitor" or a "quisling", particularly as the use of the latter shows a complete lack of understanding of historical context. Somebody suggesting remain voters be strung up by piano wire is taking it down to the depths of the lowest sewer, and shows such individuals up for the fascist thugs they pretend not to be.

Dominic Cummings considers fresh negotiations with the EU to be a sham, so what was Boris doing when he asked for our negotiators to be allowed to get on with their work ?
-
Which is worse, Corbyn in Downing Street or no-deal Brexit ? Personally I'd prefer to avoid both.

Barren !

Is the sun shining on Fantasy Island ?

Is it hypocritical of BoJo to threaten to deselect MPs that vote against the Government ?
-
Even on a free transfer he is overpriced.

There is as much conjecture on your side of the debate, similarly lacking in any form of tangible evidence.

That is what comes when we "regain control of our borders".

Boris Johnson institutes a new think tank on solutions to the issue of the Irish border;
-
I think the proposal is that there will be a "technological solution" that precludes the need for physical infrastructure or deployment of manpower. The fact that nobody has any idea whether such a solution is possible within years, let alone 2 months, is irrelevant.

Post #13219; BoJo said before the referendum vote that the Irish border would "remain absolutely unchanged". "There's been a free travel area between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland for, I think, getting on for 100 years, there's no reason at all why that should cease to be the case." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-35692452 "Theresa Villiers, then Northern Ireland secretary, said the border would “remain as free-flowing after a Brexit vote as it is today” and anyone suggesting otherwise was “scaremongering”." http://www.irishnews.com/news/2016/04/18/news/irish-border-concerns-over-brexit-scaremongering-theresa-villiers-489126/

Boris is playing a game. He has previously said that the Irish border will remain exactly as it is now, disregarding the changes that must occur if we leave the EU. His position is that if the UK doesn't impose controls, Eire daren't. Delusion or bravado ?
-
Yes, but you have to put the Brexiteer spin on things.
-
But they are saying that this proposal shows that the EU side is beginning to give ground.
-
I suppose, as Saints fans, we are at least used to our team playing a side without a win in 13 matches and losing.

Hope our batting turns up, because the bowling certainly hasn't.

This is the opinion of Roberto Azevedo, Director General of the WTO; ( https://www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/economics-and-finance/jumping-from-league-one-to-league-three-wto-insiders-scathing-assessments-of-a-wto-brexit ) "What is the truth of the matter? Alarmingly, when I put this question to Azevêdo, he said Gatt 24 would simply not apply with a no-deal outcome. “Article XXIV of the GATT is simply the provision of global trade law under which free trade agreements and customs unions are concluded,” he explained. The problem is that it only kicks in in the event of such a deal being struck. “If there is no agreement, then Article XXIV would not apply, and the standard WTO terms would.”"

Make up your own minds and interpretations, this is GATT Article 24. To my mind, para © stating "shall include" is pretty definitve; 5. Accordingly, the provisions of this Agreement shall not prevent, as between the territories of contracting parties, the formation of a customs union or of a free-trade area or the adoption of an interim agreement necessary for the formation of a customs union or of a free-trade area; Provided that: (a) with respect to a customs union, or an interim agreement leading to a formation of a customs union, the duties and other regulations of commerce imposed at the institution of any such union or interim agreement in respect of trade with contracting parties not parties to such union or agreement shall not on the whole be higher or more restrictive than the general incidence of the duties and regulations of commerce applicable in the constituent territories prior to the formation of such union or the adoption of such interim agreement, as the case may be; (b) with respect to a free-trade area, or an interim agreement leading to the formation of a free-trade area, the duties and other regulations of commerce maintained in each of the constituent territories and applicable at the formation of such free–trade area or the adoption of such interim agreement to the trade of contracting parties not included in such area or not parties to such agreement shall not be higher or more restrictive than the corresponding duties and other regulations of commerce existing in the same constituent territories prior to the formation of the free-trade area, or interim agreement as the case may be; and © any interim agreement referred to in subparagraphs (a) and (b) shall include a plan and schedule for the formation of such a customs union or of such a free-trade area within a reasonable length of time.
