Oh, I agree about Carroll - should have got a straight red for the elbow, but the ref probably bottled it as he had just that minute come on. ( There was a bit in the commentary on the stream I watched where Andy Townsend said that Carroll's third touch in the game was his first contact with the ball ). But incompetence does not equate with 'robbery'.
