Where did you see that ? It's currently persisting down oop 'ere in Lanky, but whilst there may be some light snow in the offing for tomorrow morning, the forecast for Dingleland on Saturday is chilly ( 3 to 5 degrees ) the precipitation looks like it will be limited to showers, possibly with a little sleet.

Exactly, it looked like Wanyama started tracking him and gave up, and the 'tater suggested he was actually Bertrand's target, and he'd stayed out holding a high line.
-
Out of curiosity, why not list the team as Fraser, Nathaniel, Jose, Toby, Ryan, Victor, Steve, Morgan, Dusan, Graziano, Shane ? Why do only 2 players get first name familiarity ?
-
Maybe, maybe not, but I don't think we're playing badly at present, we just got mugged 3 times in a week by teams with vastly superior resources and experience - if Morgan and Toby had been fit tonight I suspect we would have won.
-
That's RK's judgement call - will Mane represent a bigger risk to Burnley's defence with his attacking, or to ours with his lack of midfield tenacity ?
-
We are 5th, not 15th, and the difference tonight was down to RVP.
-
Doesn't really matter, it's now a question of whether that midfield can overcome the Dingles, which surely they can ?
-
The Dingles are really not that good, and this is a perfect opportunity to get back into our stride. 2-0 Saints, Pelle and Long.
-
So now Ronald, it's your job to take the team to Turf Moor and prove we are better than the Dingles.
-
He's paid a large amount of money to use his experience in making judgements in team selection and tactical arrangements. As far as I'm concerned, it's his call, his responsibility, and his neck on the line.

Unless there's a 7 goal turn around, we woulld stay in exactly the same place in the table.
-
You can't post that on here - this after match thread is for moaning about the manager and slagging off the players. Go and find a 'positive posters' forum to play on.

How many European clubs have you managed, other than on Football Manager ?
-
Still 5 points above the scousers, and it's not as if weve played badly in the last week, but the squad's depth is being stretched. 3 points at Burnley should be entirely acheivable. Keep the faith.
-
2 chances for RVP, 2 goals. Pelle and Long both blaze over, that was the difference.

Absolute sh!te.

As they always sing; 'There's only one team in Manchester'.

Stupid woman sports presenter on BBC Breakfast reported that WHU have gone 3rd, but United can overtake them with a win tonight. No mention of Saints, who can do the same with just a draw. Blatant media love-in for the 'big' clubs.

Wife carrying ? Not sure if there's 'husband carrying', but laydees in a same sex relationship could take turns.

As VFTT says, it's about layers; Wednesday morning was the first time since Feb that I've ridden at below 0 - I had a s/s thermal baselayer, with thermal lined arm warmers, Altura NightVision bibtights with a thin second pair of unpadded tights over the top, ( could be removed if I felt my legs were getting too warm ), a long sleeved winter jersey and a lightweight waterproof jacket over that. Winter gloves, thicker than normal socks, waterproof overshoes, and a balaclava motorcycle helmet liner. I normally take a 'pick and mix' approach to what I wear, in my wardrobe I have a variety of base layers ( thickness and sleeve length ), I have 3 different types of full finger glove, 3 different types of overshoe ( windproof, waterproof, and arctic survival ), 3 thicknesses of arm warmer, and several varieties of leg wear - generally if it's above 3-4 degrees I'll wear normal bibshorts with an unpadded pair of leggings over the top. The only thing I have a problem with is the underside of my shoes, most overshoes don't cover the vents in the sole so your feet can still catch a bit of a chill. As for manufacturer, some of my kit is mid to high range, some is ALDI and LIDL.

4 defenders chased the ball to the left hand post, nobody else marking in the area.
