And funily enough, the basis of their religion is exactly the same as the jewish one; Abraham, Moses, even Jesus, are revered in the islamic faith. The majority of the Israelis are no more than second or third generation incomers, who have displaced those peoples living there before 1947.

Israel will never eradicate the Palestinians for one simple reason; if they get rid of the bogeyman they will revert to the internecine infighting their fractured and divisive political system would inevitably fall into. The only way they can create a stable government is to have an occasional war to distract public opinion.

At 17:00 on Jan 1st 2008 we were 15th with 33 points from 26 games, 5 home wins and 3 home draws; on 12th Jan 2008 we were 13th with 36 points from 27 games with 6 home wins, and a total of 36 goals scored and 44 conceded. Burley out !!! To put this in some context, this was the middle of a run of form from 15 December to 19 Feb ( when NP was appointed ) that saw us play 12 matches and take 8 points, winning only once ( S****horpe @ SMS ), scoring 11 and conceding 19. After NP took charge, we drew the next 4 games then beat Leicester @ SMS, ( discounting the Plymouth match on 19th Feb ).

The point about 'stealing' land is two-fold; firstly the 'state' of Israel is an artificial creation, imposed upon the region in 1947. In creating it, hundreds & hundreds of thousands of jewish immigrants displaced many of the indigenous people, hence the 'palestinians' who are not actually living in Palestine, but in the south of Lebanon, the west bank ( formerly part of Jordan ), or the Gaza strip. Second, the building of the 'security wall' has taken place on the Palestinian side of the border, rather than on the border. This has resulted in farmers being separated from their fields, families split, etc. There is propaganda on both sides, and the Israeli message is enhanced by US bias. The truth lies somewhere in between.
