"8. Independent Judiciary Federal judges, including Supreme Court justices, are appointed for life (subject to good behavior), ensuring they are insulated from political pressure and can make decisions based on the Constitution rather than popular or political considerations." Yeah, right.

Most of his acts of incitement are now moot as he was apparently acting in his official capacity in claiming fraud, and most of the evidence against him is ruled out as it is communications created by him acting as President. So much for an independent Judiciary.

Imagine JB encouraging a mob march to prevent the certification of a Trump victory amidst Social Media claims of ballot fraud.

Looks like they do now.

What a stupid ruling - the President is effectively God and free to do whatsoever he/she wishes. How does telling a mob to march on the Capitol to overturn the legitimate result of an election fall under the definition of acting in his official capacity ? Biden needs to use this SC ruling to squash MAGA with extreme prejudice, as it must apply to him as well.

500 up, but against Kent this season that seems to just be a par score.

She has had Lyme disease, which has affected her voice, but also the sound mix has been pretty dodgy, as it was for Cyndi Lauper yesterday.

If you want to be pedantic then the vast majority of members do not have Atlantic coastlines.

Obviously Taiwan is an exaggeration but the example of the eastern European states is not. Should NATO and the EU have refused their applications ? It's not as if either organisation simply walked in and planted their flags. Should the West have turned them down and left them to the expansionist plans of Putin ?
-
What it Taiwan asked to join ? The issue is NATO didn't go actively recruiting, the eastern European nations wanted to turn their backs on Russia. Should NATO and the EU have refused them ?

Talk of changing or revoking the 22nd Amendment does show one important thing; Amendments to the US Constitution are not sacrosanct.

Hellfest lineup this weekend is much better, at least from my perspective.
