Looked like he didn't want to be there to me. I think he might come good, but i think thats in hope rather than expectation. I want him to succeed but he managed to regress over the season after a fairly bright start.

how do people think he's played compared to lallana? lallana has scored fewer goals despite having played more games, not having to adapt to a new culture and having a full pre season with saints and both play in similiar positions. if barry thinks gaston is only worth 3/10, what is lallana worth in comparison-been a massive disappointment for me. i would say gaston has a had a better season than adam, a marginally better season. both have big been disappointments though, especially considering how well they both started.

i would say evertons first team is better in pretty much every position pienaar > lallana- baines>shaw- distin and jagielka>yoshi and hooiveld- mirallas > punch fellaini>gaston. i would say that we are quite a way off. 5 or 6 quality additions. top 8/9 is far more realistic

don't think it will be norwich, there biggest problem was a lack of goals this season and with van wolfswinkel arriving i reckon they will score a few more. will be another solid yet unspectacular year for them. reckon it will be stoke, if they got rid of pulis purely for the brand of football and plan on bringing in a more passing game based manager then new guy will struggle with the amount of dross at that club. overpaid, ageing dross.

i can't see how people can just completely discredit the opening 10 games where we were appaling and try to simply attribute it to "adapting".we could have and should have taken more points in those opening 10 games. we are a midtable team , midtable teams generally go through quite drastic changes in form ,norwich and stoke being good example this season

cork,westwood,henderson have all had much better seasons than rodwell. he's been injured for half the season ffs its a friendly anyway, why persist with the same tried and tested names, give games to players on the fringes with something to prove. why not give games for a few of the u21s or uncapped players, honestly can't see a reason why not

Clyne vs Rose should be a great battle. Two of the paciest fullbacks in the league. I would play Puncheon just for the great link up play between him and Clyne to try and keep rose in his own half.
