you are correct, we should still have semi final and final FA Cup replays IMO, a replay as a tad unfair, one team can get longer on their own ground (extra time) to win a game before penalties
-
we started the CSDP. the government website states it wants closer co-operation
-
after the referendum (should we stay) the CSDP will stand-up to make permanent 'EU battlegroups.' part of an EU Army sort of thing the UK are part of that
-
I wonder what has changed. Given WW3 and the bottom falling out of the economy should we leave.
-
glad replays are going to a degree. about time
-
you actually think we can reform it? really?

Les Reed.... Very pleased with the FA Cup final result. could have gone either way, puncheon gave us a shock delighted United won for us, we go into the group stages going straight to the groups is massive we can plan properly for the new season playing qualifiers make things a lot harder we got lucky last season with the teams we drew as they were fairly close we will be able to do a proper pre-season this summer Been planning for pre-seaon a while now the rise in the last 7 years has been magnificent something to celebrate every single season this is what we initially set out to do, get better every year in the last 3 years, we have established ourselves in the top 8 we never wanted to just survive in the prem we know the champions league is within our grasp the next 5 years we want to grow the club to be ready for the champions league when we have hit troubled times, we have kept to our own vision christmas was a shakey time, there was no pressure from anyone. we worked our way through that and it paid off everyone at the club contributed to a 6th place finish Ronald buys into the passion and culture of the club ronald ticked all the boxes and we built the side around him he is a good coach and tactician the squad meets the profile of the club and ronald is passionate about it Ronald has done a great job talks with ronald are on-going all the time we want to consolidate the core of the team all part of building for the future we are down to the detail of a new deal with agents and lawyers. very important that VvD, FF and JWP signed on we are talking to other players agents to get them to commit long term the focus is on getting more players to commit we have spoken to ronald about fine tuning the squad we dont want big changes this summer we are looking at targets for the summer, we want to do this quickly the Euro's will slow things down this summer, always happens we know what we want with regards to players Euro's make summer preps a bit harder but that is the same for everyone we will have a young squad of players in the 1st part of pre season a training camp early in pre season, likely to be in the USA. a short week then back to staplewood then probably to holland just like last year we try not to loan young players out in the past we have to be careful with the kind of loans we were not too happy with the loans we did sent out last year we want to improve on that. we want to create partnerships with championship and league 1 clubs looking at a partnership with a club in europe. will be able to loan players out to europe too aims for next season, work to establish ourselves in the top 6 we want another top 6 finish and get back into europe we need to be ready for top 4. maybe not next season but we want it new managers at the top clubs now normally will mean lots of changes in players there is opportunity for us to get in the top 4 in the next few years Leicester have been fantastic the plaudits they got midway through the season was similar to what we got 2 seasons ago when we finished 8th Ranieri did a great job job, they have fantastic team spirit and the momentum grew the belief that the traditional top 6 clubs were invincible has gone. Us, west ham started to break down that belief and leicester went and killed it stoke are another side who can beat any of the top clubs leicester have laid down the gauntlet to clubs like us the football landscape has changed, the top half of the league will be more competitive Everton are another club who will want to return to the top end of the table we will relish the challenge of managing the Europa League and the premier league you hear people of other clubs talking themselves out of doing well in both competitions at the moment, we have 6 extra games. we have to get the logistics right

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Batman replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
who said they dont? just pointing out that from what I can see (and this is not an opinion) it is assessed that islamic nutters are more likely going to attack than an Irish one. I know you dont like that. Just passing it on from my part of the world -
if you think Guan and K.billy are full of shyte also, then yes
-
because an apparent ITK on the grand old team forum has stated that these things happened/happening. Their own Guan or something

the threat from islamic terrorist remains more likely than Irish loons at the mo. From where I sit anyway -
Just found this on the Grand Old Team forum.... Got to hand it to Everton FC. Aimed high for Mourinho, expected Koeman........now Giggs is being talked about as a real possibility

we pay out £361m PER WEEK to the EU Take away the rebate and other monies received from the EU (from our own cash) for both public and private sectors it costs the UK £161m PER WEEK to be part of the club
-
fair? the TV revenue in the premier league is as fair as it gets on this front thankfully, we dont have a system like they do in the other big leagues
-
Maybe. We shall see in the next week or so
-
Basically saying, Ron would have not "bought in" to the club should he not sign.
-
We were looking for a manager to buy into the culture of the club the last 3 managers have had that Ronald ticked all the boxes we recruited him under the radar, few headlines we quietly get on with the job Ronald buys into that, he is a good coach and good tactician He has done a great job talks are ongoing all of the time conversations are always on about the future we are building towards the transfer window we want to retain the core of the side and the contract being extended show the start of that no point talking about money for players unless all are on the same page getting down to nitty gritty, details of the contract are with lawyers and co that is where we are

either way. all those bad thing that will apparently happen were going to strike down Norway. The opposite was reality.
-
were the Norwegians told lies in their referendum then Charlie. the same stuff that we are told about if we leave? just a yes or no will do. No need for one of your long drawn-out answers
