maybe. Probably have their eye on it.

It is what it is. what I do find funny with stuff like this is when Les Reed comes out and states that we scout players for a very long time before they come to saints. We check that not only are they good enough to start (with youth team players filling the gaps) but they have the right temperament and values for the 'southampton way'
-
Didn't he act up a bit for his old club when we were in for him?
-
Don't think it is way out there that Newcastle could get 8 more points than us over the rest of the season Chelsea certainly won't go down. See how Swansea get a new manager bounce when that comes
-
At the end of the day, it is a results driven business. we are in/heading in a pretty messy relegation scrap with the manager struggling to change it. Ron must be feeling the pressure and as CB Fry stated, this could well be a Michael Laudrup MK2 here. Two home league games on the bounce now. WBA and Watford which straddle and home FA Cup tie against a very good Palace side. but those two home games are vital. we have the tools to be much better but the manager has to get the team to show it. *dons tin hat*

at the end of the day, it comes down to results. Much like why Monk was given the boot. I bet he was in early every day
-
ooooh. Sounds like something I would say..!!! I agree. This form cannot go on longer otherwise the board will have to take action. As for blaming the owner.. Dont buy that at all. Ron has been backed more than any manager in my life time
-
We get your gist. You dont really think we are in a real relegation battle...many do
-
what was a shame is that we all knew when we went to 10 men, we would concede. so much for digging deep and making 10 men harder to be and all that
-
which is little to do with good chances both miss....regularly
-
thought the ref was fine today
-
no matter how people try and justify it, long is a long way off from a £12m striker.
-
If we just do the same things as we have been for the last few months, bar the arsenal game we will lose keep doing the same things that dont work, will bring the same results
-
great, our form is fine then. No chance of going down happy with that
-
last 6?
-
79 mins before making a change. Not as if we were knocking at the door before that. I dont think their keeper made a save in the 2nd half
-
no. but newcastle are in better form than us. unless RK changes a lot of things, nothing is going to change
-
unless we go back to what worked so well against arsenal. this dire form will continue
-
awful, truely awful we are in a fight to stay up. Make no mistake. With the form we are in, the manager saying we 'may' buy a striker in the window (so nothing imminent then) and his tactics. we will do well to stay up. That is realism VvD poor JWP poor Long poor Wanyama very very poor first time I would post on here but I wonder if RK is set on this job. Few times now made points to Journo's about our ambition and yet again today. he did very little change pretty ovbvious shyte tactics. Vic was horrendous today and wonder why Koeman is blind to him and he should never have been on the pitch for as long as he was anyway for being obviously crap. But both of his challenges were just stupid and sums him up. His passing was woeful today also and just jogged about for a bit. I will wonder how he can waltz straight back into the side after that very poor yet again as an attacking threat. but that is no surprise as we have been for ages. barely worked their keeper at all which is not new. It is like we ripped everything up against arsenal, changed tactics and shape, which worked a fuking treat. Then reverted to type (which is pure relegation form) and we see the same results. what was worrying today was how RK never looked like changing anything until we went 1-0 down. Not even after vic was sent off. Mane had to be on the pitch 20 mins earlier than he was so much for our 'better squad'...... but the first time today, I wonder about RK. was last season a one-off where the pieces fell in place for him (much like ranieri this time) or is he better than what we are seeing. we will do well to stay up
-
avoid what? we are in one ffs. dont know why some on here are blind to that
-
relegation battle is on. big time
-
we already are. jesus, cant you see that?
-
come on. we were brilliant against arsenal. change how we play and the formation. we change back after and back to being shyte how was wanyama on the pitch prior to his 2nd booking I will never know Mane had to be on way sooner than he was as said many weeks ago (and got slaughtered) we will do well to stay up
-
and to think, we probably wont bring anyone in of note in the transfer window
-
its like arsenal was a one-off everything we did brilliantly there has been thrown out of the window.
