Assuming Lovren compliments our existing defenders. As good a signing as Wanyama is I'd rather have seen the money spent on another centre back if we're only getting 3 players in.

Definitely, but I think we're still disproportionately weak at centre back, especially if Lovren doesn't hit the ground running.

A CB easily for me, good teams are built around a solid defence. Goals will always come and I think Jay Rod could do double figures this year.

Yeah I wasn't counting him as a first teamer, I think Ward-Prowse is quality though, future captain potential. Puncheon, Davis and Ramirez have all proven themselves at a higher level then Lallana. I haven't been calling for Ramirez to be given more time, pretty much the opposite, if you're consistently ineffective you shouldn't be playing, it's that simple imo.
