  1. That sort of clause would be illegal - you can't stop people from working.
  2. We'll see if the missus gets me a burger at lunch or not...
  3. The show IS Clarkson though. Like it or not, a point I made much earlier in this thread, the show is nothing without Clarkson. May and Hammond know this, and anyway, there is no doubt they are good friends.
  4. They certainly are. Driving a McClaren MP4-12C and a Ferrari 458 tomorrow - should be fun.
  5. Pink or brown?
  6. So looks likely he will go, certainly that is what Clarkson is hinting. Good on May and Hammond refusing to film without him, at least they have some loyalty to him. New program on Sky or similar with those 3, pretty much guaranteed as originally thought.
  7. ****ing cloud over central London spoiling it for me. Pretty dark though, feels a bit like the end of the world.
  8. Some have though. Say to think I've been on these forums since I was 19 though, surely I should have better things to do with my life...
  9. I just use tablet and phone connected through bluetooth. I don't download films etc, I purchase, so can get by with a 128gb SD card, or if a problem I still have my PS3 which I back everything up onto so can use that through the surround sound in the lounge. Once we've completed the kitchen/diner I'll use another Bluetooth based hi-fi for that room
  10. She'll get one **** of a paper cut if she's not careful.
  11. Missus does too funnily enough. Turns out the '****' act only gets you so far!
  12. He was awful on 5live this morning on the way into work.
  13. That's like saying the clap is better than syphilis though...
  14. But you're leaving your man, KRG, out to dry...I suppose loyalty is more of a 'man' thing
  15. You and me both, but most would say the same about our Georgie. In all reality, if people think that either Ed or George actually has any say on the economics behind it and everything that is done is not based on Tory or Labour 'thinktanks' then they're mistaken. They're only the faces for them.
  16. He's going to start throwing stuff at you and tripping you up soon...
  17. It's a damn good idea tbf. And much cheaper.
  18. Calling Coxford_lou, St Andy etc, sexism convo happening on the budget thread.
  19. Ok, cool. Hard to see how that proves any point apart from the one that myself and Hypo are making, but I'll wait for that later.
  20. It's more the point that she stands out. Bit like Elmer the elephant.
  21. She dressed inappropriately. Show me an example of a bloke there (cabinet or shadow) dressing inappropriately and I'd agree.
  22. My missus loves that crap, she's always commenting on pics of the latest TOWIE star with his chest out etc.
  23. I assume the 500 men were dressed appropriately - it's budget day so ties all round I would guess. The reason she is being compared to Sam Fox is she is famous for making money out of her breasts. Theresa May was wearing a low cut top. I'm sure if the skirt was inappropriately short she'd have been compared to someone else. It's hyperbole, based on the fact that she is dressed inappropriately. As I say, if Ed Balls was showing off his chest, or George Osborne turned up in a V neck, it would have been commented on. But they didn't, and it wasn't. I don't see how that's sexist.
  24. If Ed Milliband had been wearing a shirt with two buttons undone, showing some chest hair, do you not think he'd have been compared to Simon Cowell or similar, because I do.
  25. That is the Daily Mail though? It's like going to a Roy 'Chubby' Brown gig and expecting no sexism! Plus, just out of interest, what do you consider sexist about that? I'm intrigued, as all I can see is hyperbole about May wearing an inappropriate dress...
