  1. They are ****ing massive to be fair, the boots are cavernous (around 20% bigger than pretty much every other in its class). I would never get it past the Mason's for sure...
  2. It must be writing style I guess, need to work on that. I'm actually not a serious guy at all which is weird. Perhaps it's due to the faceless (in general) communication on here, your specific personality traits don't transmit, and certainly a lot is lost in writing style. Cue Saint Bletch and 14 paragraphs of confusing fact, sarcasm and mockery to explain it further...
  3. Dang, he's worked us out Pap. Best hope he doesn't realise you's actually a Tory peer or the **** is gonna hit the fan...
  4. Weird, no idea. Search for it on Google, I know it's on Vimeo but it doesn't seem to work on here.
  5. Possibly go to an auction then...
  6. This. University should only be for the most talented/intelligent, especially if it's subsidised using tax payers money.
  7. So what is the average debt then? You said it's far more than £40k but when I asked you to break it down you didn't, so I'd be interested to know.
  8. See, this is where people get me wrong on here Pap, in general I am very much a 'devils advocate' type person, I ask questions on here but it's not that I believe that point of view or see it from that side, I'm just interested to know ppeoples opinions. And I'm not particularly Tory - sure I will probably vote that way on the next election but only for abscence of a better alternative, Conservatives Light, let's say. Have to say I thought Pap was exactly the way I imagined him and the way he comes across on here (thats not a bad thing mind), engaging and good company. Lou, lots of people know who I am, I am on Twitter and dont hide it. In general it seems a lot of people take offence at the way I am on here, although in general I don't see myself as that disagreeable, after all, this is all just opinions on a message board. Edit: Changed my photo to a less pixellated one for you Pap...
  9. Hounslow loop is an awful service though.
  10. What makes it easier to park, it's a pretty bulky car due to a long bonnet? Seems you know as much about cars as you do about car financing. Excellent diversion tactics by the way. If only you had the balls or nouse to reply to the actual questions/acusations. Always said you were full of **** after your embarrassing made up email from Katharina, and your "I've worked with loads of billionaire's" rhetoric. Look, it's alright that you've spent more on a car than you need to I'm sure you didn't have the time to do the calculations correctly, or one of your many billionaire friends paid your way, but I was just trying to help someone out on a forum, there was no need for you to get so annoyed at the fact we had two differing opinions. Anyway, hopes all well in the world of expensive leases and Russian billionaire's (guffaw).
  11. You haven't even responded?! You can read the thread if you like, fückwit. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?53432-I-Need-A-New-Car#.VN5UXiMeLqA My point was that it was much cheaper to buy and run a two year old car than it was to lease a brand new one, m'kay. Goodnight!
  12. Says the guy who'd manage to buy a two year old car without a warranty. Why are you responding like that, just because you disagree? I know, why don't you propose to take me to meet a billionaire, and then pull out and say I can't when I call your bluff.
  13. This, and frankly I don't want these people teaching my children, diagnosing my cancer or designing my bridges if they can't understand simple things like this...
  14. So is it just a case of the government giving out pamphlets in schools explaining it? I think I can comment on this. My parents are both very working class, but always said I should go to University. Same funnily enough, as my other half. With the internet as it is, surely these kids can find out for themselves, otherwise I'm frankly amazed that they can get into university.
  15. Sorry, who's from that background?
  16. I don't know what kind of warrantys you get with cars but buying a 2 year old car you will have at least 1 year left, and in a lot of cases 3.
  17. I can't believe he's arguing this, and he's a ****ing teacher. Jesus H Christ.
  18. How much is it then, for a 3 year course at university, paying 3 years tuition and housing, and working part time to pay for your day to day expenses.
  19. I apologise, you look as if you'd have got a grant when you went to uni. Either way, it's an 18 year old who SHOULD know better. I assume they teach these things at schools? Frankly, if people don't understand the way it works they are too stupid to go to university, and thats that in my opinion. There is so much literature about it on the Internet that the applicants can work it out for themselves, rather than listening to their parents.
  20. **** me, I'd like a £40k mortgage. Where do we get these from?
  21. Why not? When I went to Uni my parents explained that they weren't going to pay for anything at university, and that I would have to work through it. They also explained the theory of the student loan. I assume you never paid a student loan, so i would say it's more likely that I have an idea than you do.
  22. They'd have to have exams to make sure they're good enough. Say everyone who gets 3 x B's at A level can apply.
  23. They should be intelligent enough to not perceive it as massive debt, that's the point.
  24. I'm not talking about buying it new.
