  1. If train you need to be anywhere from Clapham to Staines on the Feltham line. If you're mid 20's you'll want to be towards London, so I'd probably recommend Putney... 20 minute train, nice area, decent amount of bars. Clapham would also be good, but Putney is probably cheaper now...
  2. Could have done with him last night...
  3. That'd be entertaining, a guy bending down snarling and shouting "**** off" to the guy in the gutter, who may, or may not have a drug problem, then running off when said homeless man says "God bless".
  4. Hampton isn't particularly cheap, better off Sunbury if he's going to be on that line as well. Twickenham is on the faster line as well, and is a decent place. Need to know more about how he's going to get to work etc, then can give better advice. Also age etc would be useful.
  5. Yep, there are loads of low fee young strikers with potential all over Europe. Leicester signed one and he cost nearly £10m. We didn't have that to spend. I also assume you've not seen Zarate play if you think he'd do a job and is a centre forward. He certainly wouldn't hold the ball up as you suggested earlier.
  6. Better hope one of those drug addicts doesn't end up stabbing you one day then. That'd be a tragedy.
  7. It depends what you call affordable. Buying or renting? Whatever you do, don't live in Feltham, the place is an utter tip.
  8. That has nothing to do with not being a **** to people though, does it?
  9. I was referring to Zarate...
  10. That's a very famous site, Sky, Football365 etc all use articles written by them or based on their stats. It's well worth reading their articles, very well put together. Of course, stats don't show everything...
  11. A) He didn't want to move. B) Burnley made it abundantly clear he wasn't going to be sold.
  12. But that's no better than shoving Mane up front? And we couldn't afford Adebayors wages (hence one of the reasons why his West Ham transfer fell through). Not as if he'd have been a good person to have around the team either.
  13. Greedy and stupid.
  14. Which striker would you have liked to see come in?
  15. Signing a striker in January is never easy, they're just not available. In hindsight we should have signed one in the Summer but the assumption was that we would have JRod back. I actually think it has to go down as 'one of those things'.
  16. What a bunch of dicks.
  17. When do they go on public sale? Fancy this one.
  18. Haha, we sure did. Gotta say I love your attitude when you've said something, err, hasty. Very happy to admit you're wrong, it's a good trait to have.
  19. This was a good one (banter)... In all seriousness though, I love this one from Rodgers last season (he really is the gift that keeps on giving): "Look at Tottenham, you spend over £100-odd million you'd expect to be challenging for the league."
  20. A lot fitter than I thought beforehand though...
  21. God, he's such a ****ing suck up
  22. Propah nawty gurls.
  23. Meant to be higher. Got carried away and then couldn't edit properly on my phone!!
  24. I'm here all week...
  25. I don't disagree with any of that KRG, and the above isn't my opinion, but just how I believe it is seen, rightly or wrongly. I actually think it would make a big difference if the party involved wasn't a footballer, and it was just two people who hooked up on a night off. I think this is more the issue.
