No getting carried away at all. I wouldn't swap places for all the tea in china. Early days indeed but beating a few poor teams in Europe and losing to us at home, doesn't convince me we would be better off. And I'm sure most of us know about the extenuating circumstances at Espanyol so I really don't read an awful lot into that either. Would you be that surprised to see us having a better season this year than Swansea did last? Because if we keep going at the rate we are, there would be no surprise about it. The grass isn't always greener. We have to sit back and see what happens now. Kinda reminds me of all the pre season comments on here about how other teams had done much better transfer business than we did.......

I agree he is a top draw manager and has excelled in his job but would you really swap him for mopo at this stage? I just cant see, with this group of players especially, anyone doing a better job than is already being done.
